These people continuously call my phone and, as soon as I ask what is the nature of the call the line is disconnected. They have called seven days a week, two and, sometimes three times each day. After two weeks of these calls I still don't have any idea why they continue to call. The longest duration of these calls is approximately 20 seconds and, I wish they would stop this foolishness!

Politians work for lobbyists, that's where all the money is
I like the idea of a very limited term and all perks end for politian and family at the end of term.

I get the same 10-20 calls a day from 1-800-395-2274. When I call back they ask you to enter you card number. So I just stayed on the line without entering anything. I was then transferred to a live person who stated they are HSBC Card Services and asked for my card information. I told them I am not giving out any information to then because I didn't know who they were. I do have an HSBC credit card and called the number on the back of the card. I told them what was happening and gave them the number. The customer service rep said that is not their number and to call the fraud department which she gave me the number for. I called the fraud department and they also verified that this is not their number. The fraud department took note and told me to contact the FBI.

I used to work for a collection company simply write a letter to them telling them you no longer want calls and sign it. Once they recieve it they cant call you anymore! I would advise to request a signature when recieved so you have proof they got it.

This number keeps popping up on the Caller ID of my cellphone, but since it's "anonymous", my phone automatically rejects it (it doesn't ring through, just goes immediately to a "reject" message that I'm "not available at this time".) I have an HSBC MasterCard that's NOT past due (it was for about a week and a half a couple months ago, but only by one payment). Every 10 minutes, I see "8003952274 rejected" on my phone's display. If it's an auto-dialer, I hope it's costing them several dollars every time it dials a number that keeps rejecting it.

I think this is VERIZON!  It showed up as 'unidentified' or something like that, no one on the other end but you can tell that there's a connection...3 to 5 times a day lately!  The last call identified ME as the caller.   I don't owe any money except to FIOS which I missed one month and have been paying each month plus extra to cover.. I think I'm $20 plus next months bill at this point but they are the only ones I've missed/been late on.  Whoever these guys are they are, their tactics are that of cowardly scum.
REPORT This number (800-395-2274) every chance you get.  If the had the balls to be on the other end it would at least be somewhat professional

yah I was gone for the say and came back to multiple phone calls at this number 800-395-2274 and all I got was a bunch of low noise mumbling background and heard them say something about bank of america if that means anything to anyone...then I waited on the lengthy message then someone said my name then nothing and back to low noise mumbling again....are they a scam? I called them back on this number and all I got was an automated phone message saying plz enter you last 4 digits of your card number and I'm like oh hell no and so I am going to double check my credit card accounts but I am pretty sure I am paid up till the later part of this month!

How can I get them to stop calling me I have to keep my phone in my pocket in school and they call twice during school and five times a day. I use my moms old phone any ans

Put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will keep the phone from ringing.

Contact your phone provider.  They might have a way to block the calls.

Ha Ha Ha----they have been calling and calling on my main number.
I then got a Google voicemail number and forwarded the calls to the Google Voicemail number.
It does not even ring one single ring;  it just tells them "the Google Voicemail customer is not available--
    please leave a message"

Now now only can they not bother me through call waiting (which I cannot disable on my cell) but I am
capturing all their phone calls and they will realize they can't do this much longer or I have them digitally
    recorded of their harassment.

This is a very weird and creepy message Randy T.  This number is not a scam.  You are probably the one hiding out at home all day, not paying your overdue bills.  The number is HSBC; they didn't receive my payment this month due to some error on their website.
