That is about right.  It is non-stop calling.  It is probably collection from crdit card company.

My story is the same as everyone else.  I receive the call sometimes 8 times in a row.  I answered one time and the F---ing machine had the nerve to say, "please hold while we connect your call...(pause) your call is important to us..." Can you beleive it???

Okay folks!! I called the number, the automated machine asks for your account number..apparently its Chase bank.. I pressed the # key and spoke to a rep and said I wanted the calls to stop.  He asked for the phone number that was being called and input to cease the calls...We'll see.

I also heard on the Today show that you need to speak to someone and ask for the calls to stop (get their full name if possible), get an address and send the request to stop calls in writing and send it with verification of receipt.  Regardless if you are behind in payments, they are required to comply with your request. Good Luck

    Infuriated
These as...jerks have been calling my home phone at least 15 times a day. It's been going on for some time, but I've been too busy to take care of it...but I am now. It is Chase Banks card services, or something close to that. I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A CHASE CARD!

Send them this drop dead letter which I've included below. By law they have to stop calling. Include in the letter that you are also going to contact the A.G's office in their state, and that you have sought attorny council. This happened to me once before with another credit card compnay that said I was very past due with my account...an account I did not even have!!! Once they recieved the letter all harrassing calls stopped.

(Drop Dead Letter for Bill Collectors)
Bill Collectors will not be able to call you, your friends, your job, or your home
once you have sent them this letter.

    To whom it may concern:
I have been contacted by your company about a debt you allege I owe.
I am instructing you not to contact me any further in connection with this debt.
Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a federal law, you may not
contact me further once I have notified you not to do so.
    Sincerely,

These people are trying to collect a debt or late payment BUT under the FCRA (Fair credit reporting act)They are not permitted to call you repeatedly in one day, If you ARE behind or owe chase money you should document all received calls through your itemized phone bill and use it for leverage in settling your account since they are breaking federal law by harrassing you, They know that they are doing wrong but they don't expect you to know they are breaking the law!

I have received about forty phone calls, no message, nothing.  This is a place of business and the calls should not be coming to my job.  I don't know who they are from, but it is ridiculous.  My job monitors calls and it is inappropriate for these calls to be coming about every five minutes every day for the past week.

Upload a "silent" ringtone to your phone, save the phone number as the company name with a "z" appended to the front of it like this: "z-chase scam". Associate the "silent" ringtone with the company name and you will not be bothered. You will still be notified that you missed a call or they might leave a message. Anyway, these can be deleted after the fact and you will not be bothered and get more work done.

Calls about 20 times a day - 4 times tonight within a 20 minute time frame. Even Saturdays and Sundays. This has been going on for about a month. I've answered a few times, but there seems to be no one on the other end of the line. I'm going to start forwarding the calls to the local psychic to see if they can figure it out!

I have been receiving these calls for 3 months now. . SEVERAL times a day, from at least 4 different phone numbers, not to mention the "restricted" and "unavailable" ones. They are Chase, and at first it was because I was past due on my account. Well I paid my account in full and expected it to stop and it hasn't! They never leave voicemails and half the time nobody is on the other end. I have sent letters and made calls to Chase telling them to stop and I have done the whole consumer complaint crap and nothing has ever worked. I'm now at the extreme of having my phone number changed. RIDICULOUS ! !

    Don't get mad, get even
I just started getting calls from this number, and have already started to fight back... I call the number 10-15 times in a half hour and hang up on them. Instead of receiving calls left and right, they only call 1-2 times a day now. Might try forwarding the number to itself via one of the other numbers. Or forward it to Chase bank!
