    Absolutely Sick of Chase
A woman called me from Chase (India, left a message on my voice mail.  She was yelling and screaming in the phone.  You could not understand any of the English which she was trying to speak.  I called Chase's customer support here in the U.S. about the phone call from India, the representative laughed at me.

We get these calls constantly. There is never anyone there when I answer (i.e. computer generated). Maybe if I hung around for a few minutes someone might eventually come on the line. They assume our time is not as important as theirs. Not waiting around for them. Trying to figure out a way to stop this harassment. Chase is out of control. We should all complain to the CEO of Chase and send him a link to this blog so he can see what his decisions (to outsourse all of this)are doing to the Chase Bank reputation. For all his millions, he needs to be accountable for something. Don't you agree? Maybe he shouldn't get a bonus unless he resolves this huge problem.

I am just blown away by the magnitude of this problem. I look at this blog and can't believe how many of us have been robbed of our time and had our life continuously interrupted by these unethical business practices. And we are all frustrated because there seems to be nothing that we can do.

After thinking about it for a bit, if someone can provide the phone number of the CEO of Chase, I think we should forward all of our Chase harassment calls on to him and let him deal with it.

I was getting calls from here 4-20 times a . I hardly ever bring my phone with me, so it wasn't really a problem. Finally, I got tired of all the calls filling up my Missed Calls list. I answered when they called, said hello in order to trigger the transfer from machine to actual person, then pretended to be an employee of Dominoes Pizza. The conversation went like this:

Me: Hi, this is Dominoes! How may I help you?
Man: Ehhh... hi. Um, who is this?
Me: This is Dominoes Pizza. Would you like to order a pizza?
Man: Um, no. I'm sorry, I must have wrong number. Is this xxx-xxx-xxxx (my cell phone number)?
Me: I don't know, I don't memorize the phone number of the place where I work.
Man: Oh... *ten second pause* I must have wrong number! Sorry to bother you. Sorry, sorry! Terribly sorry!
Me: Eh, it's ok. Happens all the time.
Man: Well, thank you. Goodbye. Sorry to trouble you.
    Me: Bye. *hangs up*

I haven't gotten a single call from this number since then, so if this number is bothering you, it's worth a try.

I started receiving these calls several weeks ago after I gave a local teller my cell number to return my call.  I get them anywhere from 8 to 12 times a day. I usually hit the reject on my phone... don't they get the message?
    • Caller: Don't know.

That is a wonderful idea... I will surely try it except that I may answer using the local Sheriff's office instead of Dominoes...

Yeah, I've been facing the same problem. These pricks have been calling me anywhere between 5 - 13 times a day. I use my cell primarily for emergencies only and it pisses me off every time they call because I keep automatically thinking that someone in my family has been hurt. I was thinking about answering and asking to speak to the supervisor, but every time I would pick up, the line would go dead 7 seconds into the call. Lol... speaking of the devil. They just called my cell again.

I've been getting these calls from 2 different numbers on my cell.  I never answer, but tried calling back from a landline and it did not identify the company, just asked for an account number. I'm not giving that out.  Yes, I was late on a payment, but it is resolved now and I'm still getting the calls!

We are getting up to thirty calls a day from this number including Sundays. They start as early as 6:00 am and have gone as late as 11:10 pm. Has anyone found a way to actually get them to stop?

Just started calling today, 10/20/07. Called 3 times from 10:59 till 3:54. Our answering machine is set to ring only twice before picking up and we never answer the phone unless we recognize the name and/or number. We have a Chase account but pay the balance in full most months and never use it to make major purchases. There's no reason for collection calls being made to our number so I see these calls as a potential SCAM and/or Identity Theft and/or telemarketers. We have also gotten calls from a Futuremarket Telemarketing recently. All our numbers are listed on the "Do not call" registry. If anyone can find out exactly who or what company is making the calls, go online to www.donotcall.gov and click on "file a complaint" and provide the information it asks for. Don't know if this process works but it's worth a try. Post your results whether positive or negative.

Just found out that there are numerous Chase Companies all over the place by going to Yahoo! and keying in "CEO of Chase" and got a website that said the Chairman & CEO of J P Morgan Chase & Company was a Jamie Dimon. Don't know if there are CEO's at other places but maybe this is a start. Of course, he may be like all the rest of the wealthy people....WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?? Keep everyone posted of any findings.
