Solution: Simply pay your normal phone bill and ignore the bogus charge. If AT&T, Verizon, etc. want to continue billing for ILD Teleservices, let them go ahead and carry the unpaid charges into the next century. Who cares?

I am also an At&t customer and also have been for the last year recieving a charge from ILD.  I called them and they canceled but only refunded me 2 months of the charge.  Im out 150.00 dollars and they sent the thing I so called filled out...It was on a date that I wasnt at home and not around a computer.  I was out with my niece from the UK the entire week!  Is anyone thinking of filing a lawsuit?  I would like to join up if so.  I have a junk email and Ill check for your message:  Jenna_Dale2000@yahoo.com

This is absolutely a waste of my time. I have been on hold for 10 minutes now with this phone number - they have been charging $12.95 each month for the past four months. In my opinion, this is the same as someone swiping money out of my purse. I would 100% join in a lawsuit against this company.

I kept getting this same sales call at work for EZ Webmasters.  I would always tell them to take me off their call list and they would call back so finally I talked to the guy, Nali.  He said it was completely free webpage, nothing would be charged to my account as long as I cancelled the service before the 1st 30 days expired.  I received the call on April 21, 2008.
During the call I was told that there is normally a set up fee of $9.95 but it would be waived and then he said I needed to confirm but he had to call another number to confirm it.  During the call with the other number I was told what the fees were and that there was going to be a set up fee of $9.95. Which I had to agree to, according to Nali, but there wouldn't be one.  During that recording, I was told I would recieve a packet in the mail within 2 weeks.  I recieved it on May 19, 2008, 2 days before the day I had to cancel it.  It was disguised as junk mail.
I called that day and cancelled the service.  Wrote down the confirmation number because I had a feeling that this wasn't the end of it. I was right.
I got billed on my AT&T bill $9.95 plus tax a total of $10.60.  I called the number on the bill, ILD Teleservices, Inc. The person who answered played me the recording of my call but only the part that confirmed the setup fee and not the part before or after.  I told her that I wanted to listen to the entire conversation and not just the middle.  She said I had to call another number because that was all she had.  
I called another number CSO which is the company that called me.  1-866-505-5679. I talked to Marcia who seems to be the only person who works there. I told her my story and then asked to hear the entire conversation with Nali that was cut up in the previous call.  She said she only had the confirmation portion because that is all they keep. I told her that it was a scam to keep the confirmation but not the whole conversation. She then put me on hold without telling me.  I sat on hold for at least 5 minutes *out of stubbornness* when she got back on the phone she said she could no longer help me and that she provided me with everything I asked for.  I told her that she didn't. She asked what else I wanted. I said the tape of the conversation with Nali.  She put me on hold and then the same confirmation portion of the conversation was played.  I started laughing.  After that she came back on said she was done talking to me.  I asked why and she said because there were customers that she needed to help then she hung up while I was in mid sentence "But I'm a custom..." *click*
While I was on the phone with her I searched these phone numbers and got this website.  So I called AT&T.
I told the first customer service representative what happened and she said that she would transfer me to conflict resolution *or something like that* where I told the story again.  She took the charge off of my account and sent it back to the company *who will probably bill it through the mail later* I had them block third party billing on my account.
This is a huge scam and my warning to all those out there is don't let your voice be recorded agreeing to anything because they will chop the conversation beginning and end so they will make it how they want it.  
There really should be more laws protecting people from this stuff. It was only $10 but it was the principle and that is what they are banking on, people not fighting everyway they can. I bet that Nali is trained to sell by lying since he knows that they will only keep part of the phone conversation recorded.  Its Fraud.  I also think there should be a law that prohibits the use of partial phone conversations.  From answer to click.

Charges on AT&T bill, I have no idea what it is?  The phone number is 1 800 433 4518.  I called the number and they said it would take 2 months to take it off and credit me the $12.95 I told AT& T I was not going to pay it and they told me if I didn't my phone could be disconnected.  Makes me wonder if AT&T owns these companies.

No call, just a charge to my AT&T bill.  This is obviously a scam/fraud.  AT&T billed me for one of these from a Long Distance company about a year ago but removed it from my bill when questioned/challenged and advised it was a fraud.

This bogus company has charged my business $49.95  I contacted my service provider ATT and they gave me the usual call the company, but I explained that it is not my duty to contact a scam artist who will be collecting more data about me during a phone call. I also demanded that they reverse the charges immediately which they have done. I am now waiting for their return call to block all third parties from billing my phone company. The phone companies actually split these fees with the scam artists that is why they dont like to do anything about it.

for 2 months straight I recieved charges for 24.95 from "SafeGuardMyCreditcom" on my at&t bill. called the 1-800-433-4518 last month and was told they would cancel but recieved my bill today and the charge was still there... please if anyone gets a lawsuit going count me in, contact me and I will discuss further my bill bat115@sbcglobal.net

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, MY PHONE BILL IS OUT RAGEOUS. TERRI JACKSON. 2ND IS ESBI ENHANCED SERVICES BILLING INC. THIS AMOUNT IS FOR $13.47 I NEVER WANTED THIS EITHER. Just looked at my phone bill and they have $12.95 for USCREDREPAIR MTHLY FEE.  I haven't ordered any credit repair service.  

I don't understand why 3rd party billing is allowed if the main telephone company can't remove the charges.  If we don't pay then our services are disconnected, so we end up paying for a service we never received.

I checked my ATT house phone bill and there was extra charges from Enhanced Services 888-301-3724 for $12.95 and ILD Telaservice 800-433-4518 for $9.99 NO idea where these came from and ATT's solution is for me to call them (they never answer) and dispute it.

I got charged this too and called SBC to tell me it was billed by a third party survey company. I called the company and complained that they had no right to do this and they even gave me all of my information. I know I didn't register for this. I was also told that many times these companies buy our information from other companies and start billing.
Thankfully SBC credited my account but can not stop this company from billing their clients. This is fraud.

ILD is the billing party for Lunic Voicemail. You have to call 866-568-6367 to cancel the account.

I was pleased at the quick resolution.  I was charged $14.95 on my bill from Verizon that I received.  I was billed by 'ILD Teleservices, Inc'.  When I contacted them regarding charges being crammed on my additional line (which is a fax line), they responded within 24 hours of my e-mail.    They cancelled the service and put a block on my line so it could not happen again.  In order to receive credit for charges that were billed, I needed to contact the company directly 'Fone Right' at a number they gave me.  ILD acts as a billing agent (just like Verizon does) similar to the way Visa or Mastercard does.  A company bills the charges and Mastercard/Visa puts them on their bill.

This is their explanation that I received in the e-mail:
  >>In response to your inquiry regarding our company, ILD provides payment processing and clearing through its bill forwarding operations, similar to the way Visa and MasterCard process payments, on behalf of its merchant-customers. Our customers include communications providers, digital merchants, internet service providers, information and entertainment providers, and other enterprises.

ILD billed the charges on behalf of Fone Right.  A cancellation and block request for the above mentioned service was submitted to prevent further charges in the future. To request an adjustment, or more information for the charges in question you may contact Fone Right directly at 1-888-568-6368.<<

I contacted the 'Fone Right' company at the number provided, advised the gentleman who answered that I did not authorize this charge and it has been cancelled and blocked.  I wanted the credit for what had been billed.  He replied, 'No Problem' and gave me a confirmation number.  When I asked how this charge got on my fax line account, he gave me a date and time that the '800 voice mail number request' was processed.  What scares me is that the correct e-mail address was used.  However - I got no static or resistance to the adjustment from the rep!  According to the rep, this was done online at a web site of www.uspricedraw.com.  I tried to access that web site and it is not a valid website.  Go figure!

It does take about 2 billing cycles which is normal.  The paperwork has to make it to Verizon for the credit to be applied, so 2 billing cycles is not uncommon. (I am retired from VZ).

All in all, it was easily taken care of. I am glad the block is now on my line and I'll followup on my next bill to make sure credit it applied.

One thing that is important to do is notify Verizon that you have a claim for a charge on your bill and that the company is sending credit.  They will note the account so you are not billed a late charge or get a reminder notice on you bill.

A company called First Fairfield billed me through Verizon and I have no ideal who they are.

I had unwarranted charges for the past year on my phone bill for Comm Network Billing (CNBI) billed as ILD Teleservices and didn't pay attention them because I really thought they were some tax items charged by AT&T, my phone company.  However, the past 3 months a larger charge appeared for Business Direct LLC at 1-800-433-4518 for $39.95 for web design. AT&T told me it was a scam and she had dealt with this with many other customers.  I googled the 1-800-433-4518 phone number and found others who were scammed too.  I will report to PUC and others to get this stopped.

That is unacceptable. I will be writing to the better business bureau as soon as I am done typing this. This is Fraud and I can't believe that this can go on without any repercussions from the law.
