- A. TinocoBilled 20.00 for collect call I did not make.
- Buddy| 1 replyReceived a call from Advanced Business Services and told them we were not interested yet they billed my Verizon phone bill for $52 under ILD Telliservices. I am not happy with Verizon for letting 3rd parties place charges on my phone with any permission from me.
- pcGot a charge on my Verizon Telephone bill from ILD Teleservices for $39.95 for internet business advertising from First Fairfield. No idea who they are nor do I have a business to advertise. I called IDL and they had no authorization # on file for this charge and were very quick to credit the charges. Verizon suggested to put an order block on my phone bill so there can not be any 3rd party billing.
- Anonym| 1 replyJust opened my Verizon bill and saw two charges of 39.95 from ILD Teleservices on behalf of First Fairfield. No idea what these charges were for so as directed on my Verizon bill I called ILD. First they told me their computers were down and they were waiting for IT and they could take my name and number and call me back. Smelling something fishy I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor got on the phone and magically the computers were back up (Through reading other things online I found they do this). I was quite pissed and believe me I let them know. I found out that first fairfield is a company who does web hosting and was told then solicited me through the phone, well they never talked to me. After the supervisor said they would refund the charges which would take 1-3 months and put a block from further charges I called Verizon. Verizon informed me that over 70% of there calls deal with these unauthorized charges. Verizon put in a claim and put a block on my account but told me to watch my bill as these companies often find a way around the block.
What to do if you get these charges:
1. call ILD and be pissed off, don't accept the computer is down excuse and ask to speak to a supervisor and demand a refund.
2. call you phone companies payment division but don't be pissed with them as the charges were pushed on to them and by law they have to put them on your bill. And remember to ask for a block from future third party charges. - ca bkkrSpoke with some guy wanting to send our business info on website hosting. I agreed to this. I did not agree to sign up for anything! Received info in the mail which claimed that we signed up for their service and will be charged unless we cancel w/in a certain time frame. We did. They claimed to already have a website for our business online - the most pathetic website I have ever seen! Called ILD Teleservices at 800-433-4518 (billing on behalf of Best Web USA)and they said they will remove the charges. I also called AT&T a week later, the chrges were still on our account, but AT&T said they will remove them and instructed us to subtract the ILD charges from our bill and pay the AT&T charges only. I also had a third party billing block put on our phone-hopefully this will help.
Make sur you call the third party biller, your phone carrier, and also have that block put on! This is such a scam and AT&T said they have been receiving calls from MANY customers complaining about this. Good luck...- Caller: Best Web USA/Quick Webpages
- CA bkkr replies to AnonymJust read your post after uploading mine. Did exactly the same (except it was a business land line) and it seemed to work.
- bionicmammaFebruary, March, and April, 2009: I received charges of $14.95/mpnth from HBS Billing services 1-800-687-5298. I called AT&T and they stated I had to call this company myself to get a credit if I did not order these services. I called the company, asked how they got my information in order to bill AT&T for a service I didn't order. They tried to tell me I ordered the service over the Internet. Not true! They said they would issue a credit for all 3 months and cancel the service. I received a credit for 2 months and received an additional charge of $15.95 on my April/May billing from ILD Teleservices 1-800-433-4518. I again called AT&T and informed them that I was still getting fraudulent charges billed to me and I wanted them to block all 3rd party billing. I was told AT&T can’t do this. This is absolutely ridiculous. They can if they wanted to!
I was again told to call the company myself for credit and to discontinue the service. I was outraged! Why should I have to call these fraudulent companies who are obviously playing an “ILLEGAL” game with me and others? AT&T should deal with it since they are willing to do business with these companies by collecting the money. AT&T is no better than the companies they do business with! They know what is going on and refuse to stop it! If I engaged in illegal business such as this, I’d be thrown in jail. Why is it big business is being allowed to get away with this? The SYSTEM continues to turn its back on WHITE COLLAR CRIME. What a disgrace!- Caller: ILD Teleservices"Family contact 911
- Janet replies to AnitaI just received my AT & T bill for the company. There was a charge for this on my bill of 49.95. I called the number but a recording said I couldn't call this number from where I was. So called AT&T and she said she couldn't do anything about the charges but could dial it for me. The lady at this number said I had approved this charge but yet she had to ask me the address and the date of the charge. Why didn't she already know it. I told her I always hang up on people who say they are calling on behalf of AT&T. It will be deducted off my bill in 2 billing cycles. This shouldn't be allowed
- Frustrated as Everyone ElseThis is ridiculous if this is the case. I received a call from this number as well just today. 1-800-339-4518. When I called all I heard was a song playing and it lasted for about 2.5 minutes and then I hung-up because it was just getting stupid. I never got in contact with anyone. Currently my father pays the cell phone bill for our family since we are all on the plan. This is so preposterous that this is even allowed to go on. I wish I was a lawyer so I could bring a class action suit against all companies that scam decent people like ourselves with these schemes. In the end though, these people will get what they deserve.

- ILD Needs to be SHUT DOWN!This CRIMINAL "company" has billed me on my SBC Global phone bill for services that I for sure did not incur. It seems that there has been a law passed by some slithering reptile that allows these so-called collection companies to bilk millions if not billions of dollars from unsuspecting customers. I recieved a bill from AT&T which listed a charge for "billing on behalf of calling 10 15 15 800".
This charge was a total of $7.14 on my bill. When I called at&t, they informed me that they could not remove this from my bill, nor could they block further charges from being stolen from me thru my phonebill. This type of scam is called "cramming". Read about it on the net........for your own protective awareness.
There needs to be a class action suit files against the person who passed this bill, ILD communications & the phone company for their collusion in this scam.
You can file a complaint & voice your feelings of this unfair law by going to this link: http://www.cpuc.ca.gov/PUC/telco/
You can also call your utility/phone service provider. When you call them, explain that you have read on the net that when this number is called, the customer/victim is made to wait for about 45 minutes.....then they are given a recording for another number to call. When the afflicted person calls this number, it is said that it reaches a private residential number. In other words.....THE WRONG NUMBER! This is a blatant breach in the law as I know it.
FRAUD IS ILLEGAL in this country! Isn't it!
I was able to resolve (maybe, we'll see) the fraudulent charges and get a promise that it would be reversed, by calling at&t and having the nice lady make the call for me. She acted as a liason on my behalf. When the phone company person called on a 3-way call, there was a voice that answered for a company that calls itself "calling 10". I was able to get a promise of this charge being removed. We will see if they are lying or not.
1-800-433-4519 was the number the phone company person said she called. I am not sure of whether I was being lied to at that time or not. I also recently subscribed to get service from at&t for phone & internet. I was quoted sixty-five dollars for internet & long distance telephone services. When I recieved my bill, it was nearly 35 dollars more than I had agreed to pay per month for the services. I was able to get the "agent" to readjust my bill to the originally agreed amount. I am very leary & un-trusting of all of the companies involved. I have been lied to by at&t on at least 4 occasions in the last 3 months. I am not going to hold my breath 'til they prove to me that they have kept their word. I will however, file several complaints with the proper authorities. The Federal Trade Commision will be a good place to start.
The California Public Utilities Commission Consumer Affairs is another place to voice your formal complaints if you reside in California.
Here is their online complaint form:

You might want to read about the scam so as to be better able to file a more effective complaint. In other words......EDUCATE YOURSELF!
This predatory corporation needs to have their little scam taken down & the criminals thrown in JAIL. ILC telecommunications is located on the coast Florida.
There is a class action (lawsuit) site that has a lot to say about this little scam operation & ILC comm.
Here is the link to the site:

I must say that I am lucky that I have only beeen charged a small amount compared to other people.
If you have been charged for services you did not ask for, go after them. If we let then get away with this, they will just keep this scam going.
Remember, take this seriously & go after them! GOOD LUCK!- Caller: ILD Telecommunications

- MR AI saw an extra charge of $39.95 from ILD TELESERVICES through my Verizon Business bill. I called 1-800-433-4518 after holding on the phone for 10 minutes they said that is an advertising, telemarketing charge that I never signed for. I cannot believe these people, is there any law in this country? How about people do not notice these charges and do not cancel it. This stealing from small business. This is a highway robbery and must stop by authorities.

- LisaNo one at this office specifically remembers this telemarketing call because we get them all the freakin time. But today we received our Verizon bill and fortunately, I opened it right away. There is a $34.95 charge from ILD Teleservices on behalf of ComTel Communication. Its stated that its for "Comtel Web Host Mth". When I called 800-433-4518, "jason" told me that someone from my office must have had dialogue with the telemarketer. The charge is going to be reversed but it will take 2 months. So, in the meantime, I have to pay the $34.95+tax while I wait for the credit. Verizon is reblocking third party billing (which is something I did a year ago).
I also reported them to www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov Thank you for that link. I have a feeling I will be using that link often. So sick and tired of these anonymous groups scamming money from people that actually work for a living!- Caller: ILD Teleservices

- LoriILD Telecommunications Inc. charged me for "Long Distance Voice" twice, over a year apart for almost $10 each time. The first time I called they said it was from a payphone in Arizona. I thought, "Well maybe it was my in-laws who accepted it." But when it happened again over a year later and my in-laws weren't around, I knew it was fraud. ILD is a dirty, fraudulent company. Eventually, when I had to pay my bill, I got a nice lady at Verizon to credit it for me because I wasn't about to pay for a service that never happened to a corrupt company!

- baileygingerThis is a total Fraud company. I received a $14.95 on my AT&T bill for April. AT&T said to call them. WTF is wrong with AT&T. Aren't they part of condoning this fraudulent company? The rep at AT&T said the charge was for a third party "Voicemail? I am fuming mad!! I don't have the time to deal with this B.S. and I think AT&T needs to figure out who they are doing business with. Cause they are about to lose ALL my business for this crap!! Wonder what kick back AT&T gets.

- JOSEPHThis company (VOICE MAIL PROFESSIONALS VM, 1 800 433-4518)
charge $74.75 (5 month) to my AT&t phone bill without my permission.
I am disabled on Social Security Disability and cannot in any way afford for this kind of thing to continue to happen. - furiousMy phone service is with Windstream. I get a bill with over $19 in charges from ILD Teleservices - it shows as long distance charges and says it was billed in behalf of Reliant Communications. Funny thing is, I've been paying $4.99 a month for years to block long distance calls from ever being made from my phone. The fraudulent bill breakdown says to call 1-800-433-4518 for inquiries. This is complete bs and makes no sense, as we have cell phones, access to Skype etc to handle any long distance calls were we to need to make them. At this point, I'm so annoyed that Windstream just takes forgranted such garbage is legit, I'll be cancelling my landline service with them. It't not that great and too expensive anyway.
- cgomAT&T alerted me to this charge $99.90 and gave me the 1-800-433-4518 number to call. The company stated that someone ok'ed the charges in 06/09 and that this was for tech/mechanical support of all of our computers, software, copiers, faxes ect.. They issued me credit without hesitation and I mentioned that the internet was full of complaints about their company including reporting them to the FCC. We will see what happens!

- got scamedMe too I use Verizon and they told me that this Comtel has been charging us since Febuary for about 40/month. They have been so successful at charging my telephone number without me knowing it so they increased their charge to 80/month. A huge increase in our telephone bill caught my attention. I called them and they are completely a fake company, no one ever pick up my call. I'm trying to report on them. What a hug fraud.
