This phone number belongs to LJ Ross, a debt collections company out of Jackson, MI.  You have to understand they are making collections calls and cannot divulge certain information until they confirm that they are talking directly to the person who owes the debt.

They started calling me once a day around 8 in the morning so I called back to find out who it was.  Yes, I had to confirm my name and address and that was unsettling, and that's when they told me who they were, and explained the nature of the call.  I told them to send their claim in writing and I would look into it with the client that filed it with them and get back to them.  I refused to say anything more over the phone and they had to be ok with that.

It turned out a medical company had allegedly sent me a bill and I hadn't paid it. I never received anything from the company.  I was able to call that medical company and get the entire thing sorted out, they redacted their claim from LJ Ross and I haven't been bothered since.

So, in summary, confirm your name and your address, then tell them to send anything they have to say in writing.  Don't give them any other information over the phone and when you receive their notice in writing contact the client that filed with them.  That's your best bet to getting it all sorted out.

Debt is not purchased thru this company. They work or the clients and help them by collecting the debt. Those who do not pay they're debt for services givin by the hospitals when you were sick or dieing or had broken bones or whatever was wrong with you, make the medical costs go up. if tey are calling you its because you have debt per the hospital and you ignore the calls. But when you check your credit months later call the number on your credit and get upset with the because its been reported and say you've never been contacted. Its not a scam. There are federa laws. Check out hippa and fdcpa. Then maybe you'll understand why collection agencies operate the way they do.

i got calls from this number at least twice a day for the past 7 months. i finally called them back. its lj ross and they were looking for someone i've never heard of. just call them back. say it isnt you. they will remove your number. p.s. me having owed some debt is impossible as i'm still in highschool and have never had a bill yet.

They call me every stinkin' day.......tired of it.....they NEVER leave a message.....it's just my daily ignore call.......looks like it's time for a 800-530-3790 Voodoo Doll.......

They kept calling my house number daily, so I called back after seeing where this company LJ Roth was from, apparently, this person has the exact same name as me, but completely different address, so I told them they've got the wrong person, and now hopefully they'll leave me alone!

They will call any number they want. They call your parents even if you dont live there. They will call your god damned next door neighbor. So If I am the neighbor, and I have no idea what the call is about, THAT IS A HARASSING CALL dumbass

Not only is this a wrong number. The idiots don't even know the correct calling times for collection guidelines! Get it straight dumba**es! Stop calling before and after the guidelines rules and also stop calling those who don't have medical or outstanding collections!

Several say NC O, others say L J Ross, either way they are idiots for not calling the correct people and calling before credit collection or telemarketing guidelines!

I put this place on my cell phone Block Call list, and now they have figured out a way around it and have begun calling again.  Is that even legal??  Anyway, I never answer.  I KNOW I owe money to the hospital for my cancer treatment.  As I explained to them a long time ago, if I HAD the money I would PAY the money. When it comes down to saving your own life or going in debt....you do what you have to do.  I had great credit before this, never had a problem paying my bills.  As for this company,  they can suck it.

I believe it is a collections call for medical bills...I admit I do have an extremely overdue bill for hospital costs.  However, found myself in  a financial hardship and did return a letter with the last bill I recieved stating I had every intention of paying this, but could not do so until I recieved a tax return in February 2013.  Due to responding, whethere the response they wanted or not, are these calls now harassment???  They call at least once every single day!

If you keep getting calls for someone who does not exist at that number and they keep calling make a complaint to the FCC.
