I keep getting calls from this number just about every day, sometimes numerous times a day!
STOP calling me...Im sure you are calling about an unpaid medical bill.
I responded to the last bill recieved with a letter explaining my financial situation and when I intend and CAN pay the bill!!!  I will do what I said...
And will report your agency if these calls continue.

I just wrote to congress with my concerns about these calls.  It is a collections agency for medical from what I know---I have submitted my intent to pay on a bill I owe, months ago and the calls will not STOP!

So telling them your husband was dead etc. Did they continue to call back?

Calls and hangs up--no message. If this is so important, send a collection notice and envelope, and I make a minimum payment on a payment plan.

ok another messgae lady from LJ.Ross calling she asked for my name and birthdate and I said who are you? she said I cannot tell you anything until I confirm your name and your birthdate i said no way am i telling you anything "she replied all right then the phone calls will continue! I looked up the law on harrrasment phone calls and it says if they call you more than 5 times in one month you can sue them for 500.00 each time they call you have to take it up with small claims and must record every time they call you and what times it is not hard at all to get phone records you can get them right off your pc at home. I plan on taking action from this company and if enough peeps do the same just maybe it would be nice to put them out of bussiness.

I have not, nor have I ever been in a medical facility of any kind in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area. I got this call earlier today.

Debt collector...mine was for a medical bill

they want 50 dollars saying my wife and i owe a co pay.thats not true they will not let u see the doctor without paying at henry ford, they call twice a week. my wife has tried to talk to them talked to a woman who was very rude.

This person is on a computer dialing program. Due to the delay you receive when answering. The person is always pleasant; he says: "American Home Security."

Yesterday, while out with friends, I waited through the delay. American Home Security. This is Joe.
Joe don't call me at this  number again. Then a long silence between us, as I took a breath he hung up. Let you know if he calls back.
I have been bankrupt due to medical bills and moved into a not so efficient efficiency. What a home!               If you are also in that situation, another rebuild your credit through....... whatever they are pushing.

Got a call on my cell from this number - I called it back from a landline and it was an advertisement for Dish Network.

They claim I have a debt dating back 20 years and that I must pay them or else there will be a negative impact on my credit report and possible court action. I had to laugh and told them to go ahead and take me to court because any debt that old isn't worth the court costs and legal fees. Good luck with collecting on a 20 year old debt.

Don't worry about it...the statute of limitations has long run out...just a bottom feeder who purchased a bunch of old debts.

love sanctimonious post like this. i live in Maryland, have never been to detroit, have never been to the state of michigan, i get calls from this number 5-6 times a day, but since you are so sure i owe a medical bill in that area, and i'm an idiot for not listening to them, please explain to me how that is possible?

These people have been calling me every few weeks looking for someone with my name, but a different address.  I have repeatedly told them I am not this person, but they persist in calling.  Finally, today, I demanded a mailing address so I could send them a letter demanding they not call again.

Under federal law, they are OBLIGATED to give you their address and if you send them a letter warning them not to call you again, they are OBLIGATED to stop, or you can sue them.

By the way, a couple of months ago, I googled my name and the address they had for the person who shares it, who they're looking for.  It took me five minutes to trace down what is probably his current address.

It's pathetic that I, a total amateur, can skip trace a delinquent debtor in 5 minutes and they can't manage to do it in months.

They won't be getting that from me, of course.

Our last few words, after having to repeatedly interrupt her to get her to give me her company's address.

Her - "I don't have to take this from you, I'm going to have my supervisor talk to you."

Me - "Of course you don't have to take this from me, you can quit calling me any time."

Her - "I've placed you on our do not call list ..."

Me - "And I'll give you some advice - try to find a job where you can do something constructive for people."

I just received a call from this number and a woman named Rachel wanted to verify my former address and wanted my new address. I told her since I didn't know who she was that I wasn't verifying anything. I asked her who LJ Ross was and she would not answer. Does anyone know who they are? I can not find them, are they a law firm, collection agency or what? I do not owe any medical bills nor have I ever had treatment in Detroit area. Please advise if you know - thanks

Mary, do you know for a fact that they are a debt collector? I could not find them.

800 Services are a drag. Got this 1 today: 8/2/13 at 3:54 PM CT on a Landline. I have nothing in MI. Unlisted & DNC means nothing to these bozos.

They collect energy bills for other states, I'm in MD too and they called me for a Baltimore Gas & Electric bill.

It's a collection agency for medical and energy bills.
