I recv'd a call at work and I did speak to someone in this department...needless to say they are rude, and very unprofessional reps. I asked them to send me what they have on file so I can review it and at that time I will make arrangements in paying if in fact that I owe, they told me that they could not fax, send or supply me with that information. At that time I explianed to them, that I might not even be the right person..and I was not going to pay anthing until I seen an invoice or bill, and he hung up on me and I haven't heard back from them since (its been about 2 weeks)

I received an email from work that this company called to verify my employment-- who the heck are they and is it legal for them to call my work ?

My husband just called me and told me that 18005421048 called and asked for him!  Name of the person was Lee Moore!  Never said what it was about or anything.  His boss told the guy that my husband was busy.

WHO are these people????  My husband has bad credit and is just now getting some type of credit back.  Last bad credit thing was in 2005!  

I bet these are people who bought debt and intend to intimidate people into paying and ruining people's credit.  I wish there was a way to stop them!  These people are also breaking the law by harrassing you, threatening you and contacting you at work!

I will be telling my husband to tell his boss he isn't allowed personal calls at work to stop calling and ask for the business name so I can file a complaint on them!

My Co-worker gave me the 1-800-542-1048 number and said it was a Matt Walker that called and he was extremely rude to her. I called him back and it went straight to voicemail. I left my work number and trust me, I am waiting for him to call back because I'm going give him the treatment like he gave my co-worker

They've called me at various numbers listed above for the past six months... Last month I decided to call them back - no company name was given, and all they told me is that they were attempting to collect a debt - I have NO debt. Since that time, they've continued to call me, leaving pre-recorded messages for the past four weeks. I'm not sure what to make of it, but it appears to be a scam using scare tactics to get people's social security numbers and/or money.

A person by the name of Aaron Luchia (1-800-542-1048 ext: 387) called an office that an employee no longer works regarding employment verification. This information was emailed to my office (office of Human Resources) by the admin person who took the call.  I called the number and found that it was a debt collection agency and immediately told that person that this is a Federal Government Agency and that we do not tollerate fraud and harrassment. The gentleman on the other line did not give a hoot and demanded that I give out forwarding contact information. After repeating myself and telling him that the person no longer work at this agency and have no forwarding address, he continued to talk over me.

Some lady by the name of Chris Rimby call my husbands work and left a message for him to call her back. He call me right away and gave me the info, so I called and got the same recording as everyone else.....It is getting very scary to know how many scams are out there to get people these days! Watch out and NEVER give out social security numbers ext. they will get you for all you have!

i just received a message from this number. i called back, the gentleman was very friendly, told me i had an outstanding loan, and we set up payment arrangements. i do not work for this company, i am a 24 year old student w/ multiple loans out and was pleased w/ the company. no one threatened me w/ a lawsuit or anything ridiculous like that.
if you have loan out, call these people, they will help you settle your debt. :)

A RUDE lady called me at work, I pick up and hear music and asked to hold! I did so just to ask what company calls someone and is immediately on hold. She said "NCA" and asked for someone who isnt me. I was rude back told her to lose this number as I work for the SWAT unit and was running a trace for the call. She stuttered as I hung up.

received a call from a Barbara at NCA 1-800-542-1048.  Called at work.  
Said she was calling about a loan I had in 2001, I asked name of loan company ws told mMixed JV Loans -could not find this company anywhere.  
I have reported this number and name to State Attorney General Office.

They call my cell and ask for my son, when I ask what it was they wanted the guy said, daa... and hung up. I called back and got a recording, all I said was    [***] YOU   and hung up.

They called me and were very rude to me. So I asked for proof of who I was sending my money to and they could not provide the info. So I just hung up.

Got a call from them on my cell, couldn't answer it because I was at work.
I don't know what kind of scam they are trying to pull as I have been totaly debt free (no credit cards, no loans, nothing) since 2001.
They better have a darn good explanation as I just pulled my credit report from the three reporting agencies and there is NOTHING on any of them in the last eight years.
I will contact them and post their response.

They called my work number at 9am on a Monday Morning the busiest time of the day for customer service.  My employee informed me of the call so when I pick'd it up the man stated he was a police officer and that I was to give up all my information and the police were on there way to my work to take me in.  I explained that I had declaired bankruptcy and they didn't want to hear that.  Now because it is a customer service center the calls are monitored I have on record them saying that bad things were going to happen to me personally,  They hope I didn't like my job because they will make sure I lose it.  They will make sure I get hurt.  All kinds of things.  All on record.  Then they called my employees saying that I was in trouble with the law and they better give me up for my employees to give them my ss# and personal information.  Now there on my credit report I called to find out what was going on to dispute it and they said I was obviously not going to pay why did I bother calling?  I dont understand them at all?  What do I do now to make sure they go away?  All of my debt was included in my bankruptcy however they will not remove it.

they wanted all of my personal info and if they contact me again i will let you know they wouldnt tell me anything about them or send me proof of were my money was going so i didnt send anything.

number has called my family. every one but me. i had to call them. when i asked for them to send any documentation on what i owed, they refused. Why am i going to pay a debt just because someone on the phone tells me i owe it i want proof. with out it, they aren't getting a dime. Just so you know, 5 bucks a months and you can block up to 20 numbers with verizon. not a bad investment.
