Got a call from 800-542-1048 missed they left no message

Kept getting calls from 1-800-542-1048 several times a week and I sent straight to voicemail because I don't recognize the number, but they never left a message. Looked it up and find this so this number is blocked now. Bye Felicia.

I have gotten this number on the 23rd, 24th and again on Saturday the 26th missed call each time they left no message. It's bad that they need to ruin peoples weekend with there calling just a big scam...

Harassed by this company calling non stop. I’m already fighting stage 4 kidney cancer, on top of treatment and all the other medication I’m currently taking, I can not deal with the extra stress!

Sorry to hear that.  The solution to your problem has been posted on the previous page.  Look for my post with the link in it and it will tell you everything you need to know to stop the harassment.

This is the 2nd call from 800-542-1048 today and 1 yesterday missed calls they left no message so I would guess they are SCAM CALLS

Well I just got another call from 800-542-1048 this is the second one so far today plus the one I got yesterday scam

I got a call from this number 800-542-1048 at 5:08 P M today some thing about money had no idea what she was talking about and I hung up the phone to me it was a scam call

Got another call from 800-542-1048 @ 9:55 AM today 11/8/2019 some wpmen asking for money.

If you had spent more time reading and less time spamming this thread with your call log posts you would have known how to easily stop the calls.  Now instead your post is being reported for spamming.

Got a call from this number, junk debt / scam collection artist trying to use intimidation tactics to scare people
into giving them money.  They make up fake claims like important legal matter, your going to be served at work, etc.  However they never provide actual certification of debt, case numbers, who they represent, etc.   Remember they are not a legit company if, 1) They don't identify who they are, company name, and what client they represent.   2) They must provide proof of debt and give you the opportunity to dispute.  3) If they are really a legit legal firm, they would not call you to tell you they are serving you, they would go to the courthouse, file the case and you would get a copy of the case sent via certified mail.    If you continued to get harassed by these goofballs.   Call your State Attorney to report them and also file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Calling pretending they are contacting about an important legal matter.  Scam artist, they will attempt to find out personal information about you and harass your relatives or even try to contact your work making threats of sending a process server or arresting you.   They will claim you owe money but will not or can't validate.  They use intimidation and scare tactics.  If you get a call from them,  1) Ask them to validate the debt 2) prove they are licensed to collect the debt in your state.  3) If they can't do either send a letter telling them to stop contacting you and report them to your state attorney.
