- BigAI would appear that this outfit supplies the means to receive and teach virtual classrooms. They have two options for students. $30 for 4 months and $48 for the year with add ons for textbooks and proctored tests. They are registered in a lot of states but a lot of those registrations have expired, been revoked, etc. It looks like they are out of Canada.
- April| 12 repliesThere were 2 fraudulent charges for $19 and some change and $87 and some change on my credit card that showed this number and after being on hold for a while I actually got someone on the phone. I was told that it was a charge from "Total Access Network" for magazines. The company I called gave an email of customerservice@promptpcs.net. I told them I don't order or even read magazines and they said they would cancel it and refund all charges and gave me a confirmation number. They said it would take 3-5 business days so I will update and let you know if the refund actually shows up.

- April replies to April| 4 repliesSorry the email is customerservice@promptcs.net. I'm assuming it is "prompt customer service " and this number is a call center because when I told her the amounts she stated it would have been "Total Access Network" so I'm assuming they handle calls for different companies and possibly process the payments for those customers which is why their number shows up on the transaction without any identification of the original company's name or information.
- BigA replies to AprilThat company used to supply internet service. BBB has them out of business but there is an alert still on their page.
https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/elgin/profile/inter ... additional-infoQuote:Alert
BBB is alerting consumers regarding Total Access Networks after an investigation revealed the company's name is being spoofed by scammers.
Consumers informed BBB that they have received text messages, emails and Google calendar invites from the scammer congratulating them on winning an iPhone. In some cases, consumers state they must take a survey in order to obtain the phone and are later asked to pay $19 or more for shipping. Once the payment is made, consumers never receive the phone. Additionally, some consumers state the scammers inform them they have won a trip on a cruise. - Brian J| 1 replyThey just dinged me for 87 last night from a 877 number.
