Same here as April,  and I’m waiting for the refund on my card.

I was charged 86 dollars for some e book company I never applied for. I don't even know how,I think it was through a link from home depot

I received an unknown charge for $19.73 in April from a company called Passage Page, a subsidiary of another company called Castlewood Consulting, LLC. I emailed them (customerservice@promptcs.net) and they refunded the $ the next day. A few days ago I was hit with another unfamiliar charge, $86.61 (sound familiar?). The charge on my online statement gave a different name and phone number than the first from April but the phone number led me to the same long-winded recording that gave the email the first time. So they’re the same company. I emailed them and received a response within an hour saying I’d be refunded. My guess is they obtain CC and bank info through legitimate means (some kind of legit purchase), then randomly charge people. If they get caught they issue a refund. If they don’t they keep the $.  Most people just want their money back and won’t go beyond that to investigate why a company would do unscrupulous things in the first place.

I was on hold for over 45 mins. Then they connected the call and just let the phone sit there. I could hear everything in the back ground, but no one ever spoke to me. Finally the call ended. I guess Im out 87.00. I have hot carded my CC

Did you ever get your money back??

Had an attempted charge for about $87 like others--same phone number--said utah----I think I know how they get card number--told won a vacuum cleaner and to pay just $19 for shipping--gave credit card number--now believe will never see vacuum cleaner--total scam.

Even though b of a caught it and sent alert-now debit/credit card cancelled and have to wait for new one.

Did you get charged again a month later?

Same here.  Did they try a 3rd time?

My acct was hit for $19 first for a survey, then $86.61 on 6/20/21, when I called I'm on hold for a while, but I did speak to someone named Marianelda she was able to cancel the subscription that I had no idea I signed up for, and refunded the $19 and the $86.61 back in my acct. I also received an email letting me know it was canceled, I will be on the look out for more charges.
