- FelgercarbCalled on a Sprint bill I owe. I told them to sue me or put the mark on my credit or whatever they needed to do as i did not intend to pay it. Sprint is the most unethical company I have ever had service from. My credit is flawless, so they can kiss my hiney.

- MCERMS Other number is 1-330-659-1000. This guy name gary calls and leaves a message pretending to be a recording! Starts to say this is an attempt to collect a debt for ---. If this isnt ---- then hang up, if this is --- do not listen to this message in front of anyone as this is a personal business matter.
He then leaves 1-800-613-1545 to call back. At the very end you can hear a lady laughing in the background!- Caller: RMS Debt Collector

- AnonymousCaller ID name said "UNAVAILABLE" and the number shown was 1-800-613-1545. The woman was American and spoke English. She said "hi, is this [company name]?" I said "Yes, it is". She asked for accounts receivable. I asked what it was regarding and she said I'm sorry you were accidentally in the queue. Judging from what others have said here, it looks like it's a company called RMS who handles collections for various companies.

- mqbReceived a call from 800-613-1545 a few minutes ago. The caller (Megan) insisted on speaking with my husband who was not available. She would not give out any information, stating that in the State of Georgia she was not allowed to give out any information. She would not hang up so I eventually hung up on her. She was very rude and insistant.

- Unlucky new numberKeep in mind. You could get debt collectors calling for persons who had the phone number you had before you got it. These debt collectors never quit. They could be collecting a debt on someone from friggin 1989. I got a new number recently and the second the line was turned on debt collector after debt collector started calling. What a country we live in that even if you DONT have debt, you can still be harassed by these people. There is literally nothing you can do. You can tell them you are not that person and even if the person says, OK, we will take this number off the list. They aren't really doing that. They are just hanging up the phone because I am assuming their business has no way of taking a number off the list. Its all computerized. Someone just punches "dial"...the computer dials the number and then on the computer screen lists whatever the debt is for the debt collectors reference if somone answers. I am convinced there is no way to "take your number off the list." I actually talked to a debt collector named "Adriane"...told her it was a new number and that the person wasn't me. She apologized, said she would take the number off the list, and then actually called THE VERY NEXT DAY asking for the same person.

- Jenn A.Many calls from this number and they ask for me by the wrong name (former married name). Took a message just to see what they would say. Caller ID comes up as RCV MGMT SERVICES, but when I asked who was calling they said "RMS." I asked them what kind of business RMS was and they wouldn't answer. Even if I was taking a message for someone, they should be confident in giving a fellow consumer the nature of their business if it wasn't sketchy, right? FAIL.

- KristiThis number apparently called an old home number, now my fathers phone number. When he answered, the woman asked for me and when he informed her that I was not there and did not live at that residence any longer she became very impatient and rude. When he asked what the call was regarding or to take a message she rudely refused to give any information about the call other than to call "RMS" and that it was an urgent personal matter. When I called the number back it went straight to a recorded message saying you have reached the voicemail box of 5687. No chance for anyone to answer the phone and won't even give out so much as a name of their business. It sounds like they may be a collection agency from what I have read on this site, but I do not know of any legitimate business, even a collection agency, that operates this way. Completely unprofessional and shady, I would not advise calling them and I certainly will not be dealing with them on any level, especially regarding my financial matters, after this experience.

- Jeff ClarkThursday March 3rd arond 2pm PST
I answered a call from RMS looking for Earle Clark (my father) who passed away in 1999.
The gist of the opening of the call was that someone was using his accounts illegally. I got the the impression that they did not know he was dead. When I mentioned that, I was given a 1-800 phone number, a fax number of 330-659-5402 and some sort of account number. I was instructed to have the estate executor contact them and provide proof through the fax number that the person was indeed the executor. (the executor is also dead). I did not like the flavor of the call and suggested that I would like to know what RMS was. The person got real stiff and argumentative and said that nothing would be said to anyone except the executor. When I further suggested that this smelled like a scam, he really went off.
No further info could be collected, and the person does not know the the executor is dead. All he said was to give the info to the executor.- Caller: RMS

- SelaCalled asking for my son and ex-daughter in law who have never lived at this address. I can only assume the point of the call was to illegally harass them, as they should be contacting them directly and I can easily look up the number and see that it is tied to some scam fake debt collection. I have warned both of them and they intend to take legal action for violation of Federal Law if it continues.

- nethford replies to Joe@Joe. I want to be included in that class lawsuits. I am tired of these people. call me on Saturdays. Had a fight with my husband re them. I don't know what they talking about. I'm am sick and tired of the illegal debt collector scams. Thanks.
- LovieCame in from lunch and was given a message that was left for me to call 800-613-1545 along with a reference number.... All I could think was who could be calling me at my workplace about a debt that I know I don't have.... but I just know that collection calls always incorporate reference numbers.....
Anyway I called the number they asked for the ref# or the phone# of which I was reached....well knowing about collection calls I was not about to repeat a ref# so I stated the phone#..... they asked my name; I gave them my first name.... and they then said we are collecting a debt your comany owes.... I stated I don't own this company I am an employee.... she then said.... well do pay the bills.... i stated again I am an employee here..... she then says well we are collecting on an invoice on behalf of quill......for $358 and some cents.....I stated the invoice amount owed to quill was 320.33 and that has been paid, she then want the know when and the check# and even stated that there is another invoice for $698... I told her no ma'am I don't know anything about another invoice the company owed for one invoice which is 15 days past due for $320.33 dollars which has been paid and cleared our bank and the other invoice you might want to call Quill and discuss that with them, because they have been paid what they were owed..... while I am stating this she is trying to interrupt me and stop me from talking saying that she is going to call Quill and verify this and check to see if it was only one invoice.... she was pissed.... I was pissed.... but I got what I had to say off my chest.... and that is this company doesn't you or quill any money.... so call Quill if you have any more questions that need answering not me.....
And I hung up the phone while she was still talking.... I can't stand these companies... she wanted that check# so she could fabricated a lie that she collected a debt, but I knew better; that is why I didn't give it to her.... all you need to know is that it is paid and you call Quill to verify that... you don't need the check # for that....- Caller: Recovery Management Services
