- Disabled Veteran replies to FED UP with CollectorsYou know what your Freedom was paid for by those disabled Military men and woman. So the Government should take care of them because if not for them there would be no U.S.A. How dare you put them together with illegals coming into our country. Are you nuts they would not be disabled if not for SERVING the U.S.A and they are in hard times now because they were watching your back so you could sleep. You are NOT a very nice person that is plainly clear to see.
- FinnyI let a homeless person use my phone and now they do not stop calling.

- BP replies to jenniferThis is a list of collection agencies authorized by the government to collect student loans: http://www.finaid.org/loans/collectionagencies.phtml
This phone number is not on it. They may be calling from a satellite office or extension, but it's very doubtful.
There's NOTHING so urgent it requires an immediate response. At the least, even if collection agencies have exhausted all other resources, you have a few hours before they'll take action and file court papers--it's an expensive option for them. It's NEVER a good idea to answer, and especially not to call back, if you don't recognize the number. Take the time to research first. - BPThis is a list of collection agencies authorized by the government to collect student loans: http://www.finaid.org/loans/collectionagencies.phtml

- Phuch Yu replies to Julie Edwards| 1 replyWell know it all, I pay mine by you keeping my taxes every time I file. So keep that up, nobody has touched my wages genius and if they don't want people to quit out of spite, they'll leave that alone. Granted people are idiots, and you're no exception.
- WolfmanJack replies to Phuch YuDid you know that you are replying to a 4 year old post? By the way, your screen name is offensive and has been reported as such.
- Sarah replies to lisa marieStudent loans unfortunately don't expire like credit card debit. It's also the only load you can't get rid of in a bankruptcy. I've been paying $50 a month for almost 20 years and my load keeps going up.
- Sole' replies to MenaI called and complained to the US DOE and they referred me back to CTI. I advised the rep from DOE that I DO NOT want to deal with this company anymore regarding my rehab loan. I asked the DOE if I could switch to another rehab company. I admit my debt I was taking care of elderly parents, one who passed away and I fell behind on alot of things. I have been in rehab for 3 years and still they want me to do another year. DOE does not care even if your making the payments, I called and asked for help only to be redirected back to the issue company. Who is over the DOE???
- JohnathanREPORT them to your state Attorney General and The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, like the person said to above. They have lawsuits again their worthless company and if we all report them they will be shut down.

Then about 6 months later a guy calls and says that I was approved bt now I don't qualify because of no pymnt. I NEVER KNEW! So I fix it n arranged pymnts. They began the process .now here at the end of my program another guy called to say my paper work is out of date n that I need to update them.... now if the new pymnts were higher then my old ones...... then ALL my 8 payments don't count n that I'd have to start over!!!!!! I received a call form them on my job; asking to speak with my brother. I informed the rep that I was not him and told her that I would not give her any info on myself. I then stated that I was recording the call turn on my phone voice recorder and it went something like this...."Reps (Name ~ Ext. 3138 ~ Reference # ) "I am not the person (Name) that you are looking for and you are not to call my job...." and then the phone went dead she hung up. All you have to do is inform them that they have the wrong person and that they are being recorded and began the recording and they will leave you alone.
