I spoke with a guy who said he was calling from Window's support. I told him no thank you, he would have to scam someone else. He said "oh really?" as if he was confused at my rejection. As he tried to move forward I informed him that I hope he rots in ....   The number is now blocked. I hate scammers.

Yeah I keep getting this phone number calling me almost everyday and when I answer no one responds and they don't need a voicemail. I have had people from "Dell" call asking about my computer which I don't even have a dell anyway and they sound very unprofessional when they ask you questions. Also I had never received calls from fake dell until about a year ago when I actually called Dell about my computer that wasn't working at the time. I fell like maybe they stole my number from the real Dell.

Received 3 calls in two days bet more calls will follow happened last year to I think some hacked dell or possible dell sold information to them. You hear of this all the time. They know my name both home and cell number and my exzact computer models. How is that possible without having if they should not. Yes I said models I have 3 different dell computers.

What's bad about this is the fact one of my Dell PCs did "phone home" when it had a serious problem, but it told me it had done so and to either call support or they would call me. I looked up the tech support phone number and called them directly to verify I hadn't been hacked.

I was even getting calls that my caller I.d showed my very own number, when I confronted the guy about it he hung up. So not much good calling these people back as they somehow use other people's numbers.

This is not dell, this is a scam. I have been receiving calls from "dell" for over a year now, pretending there is something wrong with my computer. I have blocked 6 different phone numbers and after about a month they call me off a new one. I get voice-mails without my phone ever ringing, and if you call the number back it does not exist. Fake, fake, fake.

This would have brought up a run window.  From there, they direct you to type a web address that takes you to site to have you download a remote access tool, then show you your event log which they sort to show only errors (it's normal for your computer to have errors) and claim it's viruses, malware, or driver issues in order to get you to allow them to install a bunch of crap on your computer and charge you hundred of dollars.
