Geraldine no one can make arrangements for you here. You need to contact them personally (sprint/nextel)  800notes is for reporting who calls you and why so others know if its real or a scam/fraud phone call or just who it is that calls.
And a word to the wise, be careful of the scam op calls..

I called the number and talked to customer service. Since I was a previous Sprint customer they were calling me. I asked to be put on Sprint's no call list. The representative said that it would take 24 hours to go into effect. I hope it works.

I just got a call from this number as well and a woman left a message.  She sounded like she was home sleeping.  Not sure if I will call her back at the number she gave me or call sprint directly.   Money is Kinda tight right now so I paid a few months in advance and the woman wanted to make sure I did this on purpose.

I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFB..

I am a Sprint customer. Yesterday I changed with debit card I wanted to auto-pay with. Today I saw a pending charge on my bank statement for $1.00 twice. This same Kansas phone number was listed on both pending transactions. I called Sprint, and upon investigation, I was told that they made two attempts to verify that my card was good to use. They said they will refund my $2 shortly. We shall see.

No telephone call, but a fraud nonetheless.

I don't know how they did it, but these criminals charged $27.00 to my VISA account as "SPRINT *WIRELESS 800-639-6111 KS." I contacted my credit card issuer and indicated to the representative that I do not now have, nor have I ever had a SPRINT Wireless account, nor have I ever done business with SPRINT. The rep stated that she thought it was just an error.

After our telephone conversation ended, I got to thinking about this so-called "error." So I looked up the "Who called you from SPRINT *WIRELESS 800-639-6111 KS" and found these responses. The $27.00 was pure fraud, not a mistake. So I called my VISA card issuer back and stated to her that the $27.00 charge was no mistake. VISA then reversed the charges on my account.

What I do not understand is how these crooks got my credit card number in the first place, and secondly how they can represent themselves as SPRINT WIRELESS, and thirdly, how VISA can be duped into accepting these charges.

The upshot is that I had to close my VISA account and open a new one - all very inconvenient.

The number is a legitimate Sprint service number. It is not always Sprint. Especially if someone is using SPRINT *WIRELESS 800-639-6111 to take money out of your checking account. I never received a call. But I got an "exceeded daily limit" alert when a sizable amount was debited from my checking account. I don't have Sprint. I had to initiate a fraud report and get a new card. I Googled the number and problem. Sprint maintains they don't know who is doing it as they don't take payment in that way. The real kicker is the complaints go back to 2010. Its scammers. They either used software and got a "hit" or they got enough of your personal information to actually get your bank to send them a debit card with your name.

    Boost Mobile Customer
What a train wreck of a tele-sales call that was.  An Indian-sounding rep stumbled through her 'script', trying to explain that since I was a good customer, they wanted to switch me from my pre-paid Boost account to a post-paid Sprint account and it would make my service better.

Didn't get a call.  Just a $500 withdrawal and a $168 withdrawal from my bank account with the 800-639-6111 number attached.  I have never used sprint.  My bank caught it and will return my money and investigate.  Hope someone sues sprint.

    Fraud
Didn't get a call from this number, but an unauthorized charge on my credit card for $211 from 'Sprint' with this number attached.  I don't have a Sprint account so I tried to call the alleged Sprint number, got a weird message, which said congrats, I was eligible for one of the I've fallen and can't get up' services, when I was trying to reach customer service, not get sold something.  I hung up and tried again, got a more seemingly legit robo response that kept asking for my Sprint account or number.  Since I don't have one or a Sprint account, I kept pressing 0 to try and get a real person, then the robot finally said 'Goodbye' and hung up on me.  I then contacted my credit card company and reported the fraud, closed the account and requested new cards.  Will block the number from now on.
