- At replies to NickHey about that 7607058888 number. It's actually a Google Voice number I know because I was trying to log into my Google Voice number thru a new cell phone and it gave me a whole new account but since I have my own account I didn't verify my cell phone and the phone number they gave me was that 760 number. I don't know if that if just a number they use or a default number
- Nancysaid they were from Microsoft. Had all my information, name, address, computer Id
- Caller: Microsoft

- Doug H.got this call today. did not answer due to the fact I am aware of some ransomware scams. this probably is one of them, because Microsoft generally does not call you unless you request it.

- Call type: Telemarketer
- SillyRbt18This is a scam. I've received this call twice now. I don't even use any Microsoft products.
- DIANE DRAKEI received unsolicited phone calls from 800-642-7676 claiming that my computer was letting the company calling know that it had problems. I responded two years ago and was terribly scammed out of more than $2000 and my computer which was locked by the callers until i paid more money. I didn't pay more money, but instead junked the computer and purchased a new one. The caller is clearly not from america since the greeting is "dear customer," a phrase not used anywhere in the united states.

- AppleTomWhen I saw Caller ID was "Microsoft", I knew better than to answer it. I, too, do not use their software. Added to CallBlock list. My phone has entries for 250 blocked numbers; I may be filling it up quickly.
- Caller: MICROSOFT
- Terrance maconThis is a scam. I dare you to give them access and control of your computer. When they tell you that you have a virus and they will remove it for free go ahead let him do that. Then when they charge you $200 for a "warranty" try getting that money back from your credit card company. There are news stations across the country reporting about this scam. Think about it for a second do you really think Microsoft has time to call anyone who uses Microsoft to report an (alleged) virus? Good luck to the Sheeple.
- Caller: Scumbag thieves
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tori replies to Jim LIt is the real Microsoft number. The problem is scammers can make any phone call look like a different phone number on caller ID. It's very easy to do using VOIP calling.

- UserDON'T BE FOOLED PLAYAHH!!
