- Till| 2 repliescalled and asked for my son this afternoon, knew his first and last name, said they were from MS :)
- Caller: MS Corp
- Call type: Prank
- Michigan gal| 1 replyDEFINITELY NOT Microsoft! Scam - or worse yet - Hackers. They call me constantly (on my cell phone yet). Very foreign sounding man - and at that you have to wait for the robo call to tell him to answer! They want control of your computer. Easiest way to hack. Even lazy scam artists. :)
- Unicalled me. Claimed to be from Microsoft. The woman was actually polite, calling from a huge noisy room. Sounded like she was from Jamaica or nearby.
spoofed caller ID info- Caller: spoofed Microsoft
- Call type: Prank
- B.YoungA stuttering middle eastern man just called me from this number. He asked for me by name and identified himself as tech service from Microsoft. My husband was asking me who was on the phone (due to my perplexed look as to why Microsoft would be calling me) and I told him "Microsoft." The man from the 800 number is all "ma'am what question do you have for me?" and I told him I was waiting to hear why he was calling me.
He said again he was from Microsoft and was calling because there were several virus and warning messages popping up on my computer. I told him how that was funny because I was looking at my computer and I was hanging up and calling Microsoft to verify. He then told me that he could gladly assure me that Microsoft would never call anyone for anything. I asked why he called me if he was from Microsoft. HE hung up. Lol- Caller: Microsoft fakers
- Bug-47-gagot this call, person speaking was was hard to understand, said she was from Microsoft and she knew my name, saying my computer may have been hacked or whatever expression she used, also knowing my (IPF?) #, or whatever that is....I just said I was on my way out the door when I picked up the call but I could stay on the phone. She said she would call later and I said fine. Figured it was a scam of some sort and I would look up the phone #.
- Caller: Microsoft
- LynetteI had a hard time hearing and understanding this man. Then he said he was my "boyfriend". Kind of scary.

- LOIS PETERSON replies to RobI have had more than a dozen calls claiming the same thing. Being a non believer of these type of calls, i said i did not have a computer. They still continued to call me after being told that, so i played along to a point. When it got to the part where they wanted more info, i shared some very dirty words, called them a few nasty names and hung up. I really had to pray hard that night before bed, as i hate using that type of language. Just wanted to share this with you..
- Stromy CsI received a call today from this number. The girl from India told me that Microsoft is reporting many errors on my computer and that they are going to repair those errors. I asked how much they wanted to pay for their service and again she reported they are from Microsoft and were going to fix errors on my computer. They sent me to a website aimed at getting control over my computer. I refused and the girl hung up on me. This number is not a Microsoft number, nor does Microsoft reach out over the phone to repair computers. Stay away from this company and do not answer the phone.
- Caller: Microsoft Partner
- Jim L replies to Gregory F| 3 repliesGregory, you must work for them because this is all a f@@@cking scam. Get real maggot.
- MarkThey called me twice in the last 2days I told them that I know this is a scam and that I'm recording the call and i will be forwarding this call to the FBI she got very angry and hung up on me.
- Caller: Microsoft
- Louisa from MichiganThis is a SCAM from a HACKER. No way is Microsoft going to call you to tell you that you have a virus on your computer.... how do you think they would know? Never answer these calls. Just put it in your contact list as scam1 or whatever and that way when they call again, you will know who it's from. Bunch of [***]-willies.
- Frankie CurryI did not answer. The caller did not leave a message. In the past, I did answer the number and I was told that I had a virus on my computer. I had to turn the computer on. I hung up.

- KarateAeroI got this call on my home phone. Did not answer. It is not really Microsoft, as it's always a foreign person, and I have "called" them on their scam many times before. What I really want to know is, how did they get my cell phone number? I have had NO dealings with any issues with Microsoft, so they would have NO reason to call me back about the "problem". This is nothing but a scam, and when they call and tell me they are from Microsoft, I promptly say, "no you're not", and hang up.

- Shin replies to Rob| 1 replyThis is the same number have been getting for 3 years everytime I try to contact Microsoft. And its always a middle east guy or gal. I have bought windows 8 OS disks so I can do a clean install. But all it was, was a hacked version of windows that leaves holes in my public firewall and my PC gets taken over. Everything I download gets modified and archived. Then if I try to download a fresh version of something it will uninstall it and do a phony download using the corrupt version. My PC is a Lenovo my It suppose to have a Intel proccesor but when I troubleshoot it shows AMD 64. These people are getting huge in the US with companys selling Used PCs and 3rd party PCS to placec like walmart staples and all the other big retailers. ITs a matter of national security, but our goverment is either to stupid or dont give a hoot. How do you think countrys like S. Korea can overload DNS servers like when that movie that made fun of there leader. They sell PCs with dormant nasty viruses and every horible thing you can think about and as soon as you go online it opens up security holes connects to a server and you are part of there botnet. Then on top of it they sell your info to spammers and redirect you toall the sites to make them money. I could go on and on but these people own most of the PCs the public buys and most people dont even know it. And there aint a friggen thing we can do about it. And the main players in this crap is the middle east and China. Of course. Every other shady country in the world. How do you think Wal Mart and the rest sell there PCs for less than the manufacture. Our goverment should be watching and hearing about all the strang problems that are reported. But most of the time it just getting reported to some phony page like the one im on right now and nobody will ever see it Right You azzzz holes you know who you are Microsoft en us. This is a waste of time I wrote all this so some prick can just redirect it .
- Barb KLeft voice mail message saying needed to contact them immediately as a virus was found in my computer. Since I hadn't been on the computer for hours, did not call back, putting on do not call list.

- Pat SGot a message today from them about my computer which I haven't used in ages. Its a huge scam. Just hang up on them..
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Y Chan replies to Jim L| 1 replyEven if your caller ID shows it is Microsoft (or some other big company name), be alert all the time because scammers can now easily fool the telephone system to pretend as if they are calling from a big company on your caller ID. This technique is call spoofing. At one time, even my own number calling me on my own phone !!!! Go figure !!
- Pineapple replies to henryApple products work flawlessly ?????
This shows you are actually NOT an Apple customer. I own lots of Apple products, from iPhone to iPad to iMac to Apple TV, and they are as bad as Microsoft products. Try Apple Music to see for yourself ---- be careful not to loss your own songs. - LilaSome people seem to think this is a legit call from Microsoft telling you something is wrong with your computer?
No way in hell does Microsoft call YOU with an issue on YOUR computer. You call then if you have a problem. The only way they'd know is if they were monitoring & spying on you! Pretty damn simple common sense if you ask me!- Caller: 'Microsoft'
