- Ken| 2 repliesI got a call today from 281-612-6244, a spoofed number. Even though the message and the phone number left (800-669-0250) leaves the impression that it's from the Veterans of America charity, I have to wonder. As Karen says above, they don't solicit donations. Perhaps it could be some misguided friend or even corporate sabotage. The charity, veteransofamerica.vet seems to be legitimate. Check out their website for yourself.
