Got a message on our voicemail from this number at 7:30am.  Said they were Veterans of America.  Isn't that the type of call we're not supposed to get before 9am????

This caller identifies as "Veterans FOR America," which their website claims is a 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Corporation. Sorry your organization has a sound-alike name.

I suspect abusive callers are spoofing V of A and LandMovers.net, and likely other entities, merely to see if there is a live response, either by voice or a button push to remove from the call list. Numbers with a live response go into a database of "live suckers" for further abuse.

Repeated robocalls, purportedly from "Veterans of America," seeking donation of vehicles, real estate, etc. They leave a call-back number of (800) 669-0250, although the calls originate from (213) 640-3052. I called in and asked to be removed from their database. Representative promised to do so, but apparently she lied. The robocalls continue, day after day.

"Veterans for America" leaves robocalls several times a week asking me to donate my car to them. I finally called and asked for their nonprofit number and they hung up on me. - Carol Denney, Berkeley, CA

I receive a call every day, sometimes 2 - 3 times but they have no call identification other than "0"...and then the recording starts and they ask you to call them at 800) 669-0250...NEVER!!

    annoyed at their tenacity
After hundreds of calls from these douches, I finally called them back, they have a very lame unprofessional answering machine and I the told the "scumbags" to stop calling, I told them I would NEVER answer their many calls, and told them I would NEVER spend a nickel ON THE FRICKING PHONE. I don't care who the scumbags are. Im kinda quoting, cause these crooks are so annoying. If they want my money, they better start ringing a bell inn front of Macys...

Same as all the other callers noting their problems with these computerized FRAUD ROBO CALLS. They call daily, & leave mssg. Vets of America. Turn them into your local police dept.

They keep leaving voicemails on my phone almost daily.  They claim to be soliciting car donations for Veterans of America.  When I called this morning, a guy's machine answered with his name (which I could not make out) and no mention was made of Veterans of America.

Constant calls, now from an 'unknown' number.  They always leave a message, I have requested they drop our number from their calling lists.  I realize they are likely scammers.  Annoying as I listen to the message on the off chance a family member needs help.

I just reported this fake charity to the FTC. The Michigan AG got this man to stop years ago but he has started up again.

↪️ The Veterans of America robocaller now seems to be doing what it can to obfuscate its origins. Today's call from the robocaller came from a caller appearing as Out of Area on my caller ID display. The recorded voice message and this callback number still remain the same.

Sleazy scammers getting people to donate their vehicles, timeshare other big items.
They are pretending to be another legitimate charity who builds houses for veterans by same name who never make unsolicited phone calls.  They will not stop calling.
Will be happy when are all in prison for this.
