Calls asking for someone named Laura <unintelligible>.  I tell them there's no Laura here and ask them to stop calling.  This has been going on daily for two weeks now

Calls multiple times a day without any message need information to make them stop.

Well the same thing is happening to me as everyone else:  harassment by this number hanging up and asking for someone I don't know

They call my desk at work several times a day. They never leave a message. I have no outstanding debt or any late payments to anyone. When I answer and wait for someone to come on, they ask my name and then apologize and hang up, I asked the last one who they were looking for and they wouldn't answer, I have asked now a total of 3 times to be left alone but my phone just rang again. I just moved to this desk and number so I assuming they are looking for it's previous occupant.

I get calls from 1-800-684-8429 every day at my home and at my work. They have been asked to stop calling both, and they just keep calling.

This number thank to web sight - have helped us to figure out out who's harassing us. good old 800-684-8429. We have the same complaint and the call at different times of the day, it can be early morning - especially on a Sunday, and late at night when your relaxing and ready to call it a night. My son runs to the phone thinking it's one of his friends calling, he hangs up on them. WE think that all of us should pick a inconvenient time of the of day - like break time or lunch time and everyone who has been harassed by their calls - call at the same time of a day and say your call is important please hold - then hang up. I can just image the looks on their face as the switch board lites up - and blows the circuits, hey maybe we would have peace for a day or two.

My young son gets a call from this number twice a day.  When they don't get him, they leave a message asking for someone that we don't know. Obviously they don't hear v/m is a voice of a young boy.  

There have been a couple of times where they called when I pick my son from school and answered & have told the collection agent to take off the number because it belonged to my son. My son had said that he has answered the call before & it scared him because it is someone mean on the phone.

I actually spoke with a human.  It is HSBC
They asked for MUCH information> I gave them nothing but my phone number.
When you call, they ask for info, do not reply to anything, just wait for a human.  They said they were looking for a different person.  I have had my phone number for many years.  They said the calls would stop,   we'll see, and I will post it here

This Number calls all times of the day. I am in debt up to my eye balls and know i need to get it taken care of but im in such a pickle right now that i cant see daylight. Even so, there should be a limit to what these guys can and cant do. They call my cell prolly about 10 plus times a day 7 days a week. They hardly ever leave a msg on my voicemail. They even call people with the same last name as me even tho i am not related to them. Imagine looking up Smith in the phone book and trying to find a relitive to one of them knowing that they are not all related. I dont answer my phone now unless i know exactly who it is before picking it up. Maybe i should ask them for there cell number and call them all hours of the day on there phone and see how they like it.

This number 1-800-684-8429 calling early morning, almost 10 times during the day and late evening! Claiming to be "Card Services". They are calling a person that is not owning this phone number! Sometimes will get calls after 12 midnight! What the hec?! Who ever is calling-need to get a life and STOP CALLING!

Easy steps to stop annoying calls - 1) Document the time/date of the call. All of these services use telephony to record the calls. Tell the caller you want to talk to a manager and review the taped call. If you have requested to be on the Do Not Call List, they are in violation of Fedral Law or, 2) Dispute the matter. Typically, these are companies that buy lists from legitimate companies. They don't know if you're 'good or bad.' Put it in a dispute category and the company calling has to put up money to research the dispute. They won't do it.

It's HSBC.  I'm not even late on my payment.  But they keep calling me.  I think they want me to enroll in some kind of protection for my credit card. That's probably why they call you.

It's HSBC, you're either late on a payment or they want you to enroll in a service for your card.

My 16 year old daughter gets 5 to 10 calls a day and of course she does not have an account with them and neither does anyone in our family.  They ask for someone we've never heard of.

There has to be some form of action to stop them from calling a minor!

my family and i dont even have any connections with this stupid gay a**
company and becuase of this, NEVER WILL. dont associate with these kinds of people because they will never stop. next time they call again, i'm going to have some fun with them and make them never want to call me again. this is very aggrivating and im furious becuase of the 65 calls i get on my home phone everyday for the past two months. CAN THEY STOP?! they should be illegal and banned from calling anyone. SHUT DOWN THEIR SYSTEM! SHUT DOWN THEIR SYSTEM! how do you stop this kind of harassment?!?!?!
