I don't know about now, but years ago we had an account with Fingerhut, and if we were late, they called all the time and were very rude and pushy. My husband had a heart attack and they called on the day he came home from the hospital and insisted on talking to him (no Caller ID then) when I explained why not and how they were calling all the time and nothing we could do right now she started screaming "then PAY YOUR BILLS!"  My mother bought a vacuum cleaner from them (that fell apart before she finished paying the $12 a month) and was on SS and could only make a payment on the 3rd and they called and harrassed her. She used to try and talk to them and end up crying. I know this has nothing to do with this number now, but I don't get calls from Fingerhut  now so can't leave comments about them LOL. maybe they aren't allowed to do that stuff now, but  they were the worst company I ever knew about, overall. Since we're on the topic of harrassing people for money.

I get several phone calls a day from this number not only to my landline but also to my cell phone.  No message.

now they call and when i answer they hang up. what a lousily run "company"

This phone number calls my unlisted do not call number 3 - 4 times per day.  I'm on assignment out of the country check my vm to find 24 calls from this number,  this abuse of phone number must stop.

I recently acquired a new phone number, and I don't know who had this number before me, but the people behind this phone number are straight-up harrassers. They call once every 2-3 hours. If I could paste a screenshot here of the number of times they call per day, I would.

Another dirt bag.  This one is fancy, they have a automated calling system, but still a dirt bag.  They do have a legal right to call but not  to the point of harrassment.  Call only for a legal debt in a LEGAL way.  You might be able to get a form to send to them, usually free on the internet to send to them that is supposed to stop them from calling you at least so much.  But always, always, if you send anything to them, send certified mail requesting a signature, if not this dirt bag like all the rest will lie and say they never received your mail.  No use reporting them to the FTC as they do not care and will not take any action or very little and the dirt bags know this.  If you can prove the harrassment, you might file a law suit.   A law suit is about the only way you can stop this dirt bag.

I get a call from this number several times a day and when I answer it there is only a busy tone coming from the phone.  They don't even have enough guts to speak with me.

I agree, many people have to take jobs they don't even want or like, but there is no reason for the rude and intimidating behavior so many debt collectors exhibit.

If it is Household Bank, it may be them contacting people because Capital One is taking them over ... ugh.

This number just keeps calling and calling me between 5 - 10 times in a day.  This has been going on for a few days.

These pain in the butts have been calling here 7-8 times a day! I'm sick of it, and want to know what ever happened to the "do not call" register. They never leave a msg. I will answer one of these times, and let them have it!!!

I have no accts. with HSBC and have no clue why they're calling. Starts at 7:45 am and continues through the day. Help!!!

Received a call from this number. When I answer with my business name, the call is disconnected.  We get calls like this daily.  What a waste of time.  Caller ID just says Service
