Must live in California, we love to sue everyone out here. Its the adults equivalent to "if you don't stop i am going to tell mom". If anyone does not want to be called just ask, we have nothing to gain by calling you back if you wish not to be called.

We are sorry you are upset at us, we stay right on top of the DNC list for that reason. If for any reason you do not want to be called just simply ask, yelling, cursing, and being irate only makes your life and the person that gets to talk to you worse. You mentioned we called you at home, we apoligize for that, but it is the number your phone company gave us, so you should probably call them because if they gave it to us, they gave to a lot of other people to.

we don't want your personal e-mail. In fact in over 30 years we have never sent out e-mail advertising. E-mail is the best way, but if you don't have e-mail, or you are uncomfortable using it feel free to call us at 18005152788.

PS: If you are worried about getting junk e-mail you should probably not even have e-mail, because everyone gets junk mail.

its not us, it is your phone company we buy the numbers from. It is their job to filter out people on the do not call list. Call ur phone company before they sell your number again.

Yes, 800.728.3902 DOES call that often. I get calls every day to my unlisted home phone. This is in Portland, OR. Do you not feel any shame for intruding into my life like that? And after being on do not call lists? Every day I struggle to the phone on my bad knee only to see it's the same evil number AGAIN. How is such unethical (illegal?) behavior allowed?

Let me tell you about my experience with Clay K. Collins, Marketing Director, K-Designers.

I received a postcard in the mail saying that some company was trying to reach me in order to distribute my prize and all I need to do was call an 800 number. It turned out to be a vinyl siding company called K designers and I had ‘won’ a George Foreman Grill that I would get for just listening to a fifteen minute talk about their product.

Well, I figured I’d listen to the promotion then get the Grill. Only it doesn’t work that way. You see, they never had any grills to start with. K Designers sales reps are trained con artists. They sell an inferior product that you can’t buy in the hardware stores because no one in their right mind would buy it. All it takes is to visit some poor schmuck that had it installed and you’ll see what I mean.

Anyway, Clay showed up at the house  last Summer. He didn’t have my grill but promised it would be sent to me. Clay is the ‘marketing director’ and had advertising dollars he could use to bring my costs down considerably if I chose to be a ‘model’ or ‘display’ home for his product. This is an old scam. Rent or borrow a copy of Danny Devito’s “Tin Man” to see how they do it. First of all, There is no discount. No one is going to look at your house, let alone try to find the manufacturer of your siding. Any Realtor will tell you that vinyl siding does nothing for increasing any property values. The sales pitch Clay used that you never have to paint again is true enough but you will more than likely want to have it removed if you put your house up for sale. Vinyl siding is thin plastic strips of sheeting that snap together and it has a texture resembling wood. Looking at a sample close up, or at a distance, it looks like a regular cedar or wood siding. But up close you can see the lines where it overlaps the next piece. Things just don’t match up around windows or doors.

Turns out it was K-Designers whom my brother-in-law used to put this crap on his house and he was ticked! He had to hire other people to re-install it. Some guarantee!

Clayton had misled me into believing I could buy his product direct from his company and install it myself, but he insisted on coming out and measuring the house. He made it appear he had been consulting with his ‘staff’ as he got out of his car at the building site and told me that he would send me a quote but he couldn’t allow me to install any of it in order to ‘qualify’ for his commercial dollars. The last I saw of him, he was pretending to be measuring the building.

We exchanged some emails after that and ultimately I received the following:

“No, you won't get your George Forman grill. People get them all the time under the promotion, but they only go to people who allow us to give them a complete product demonstration.”

I found out on the Web that K designers is being sued by some elderly people for similar siding cons. You have to go way down the list of Google’s results. It is apparent that their PR people do a lot of work manipulating the web, smothering any search with cheap blog advertisements and fake positive reviews written by employees. But if you don’t believe what I am saying, then just set up an appointment with these clowns and see for yourself.

My wife recieved a phone call from these "people"  He said he was a co-worker.  Our number is on the do not call list and still they get thru.

The company called and asked if I still owned my home. I hung up.  Within two minutes I received a second call.  Same company.  I called the company back and told the agent I spoke to that they had no business calling and asking if I still owned my home.  I then hung up and called back.  I told the agent that I was calling again,  as many times as they had called me.  He laughed in the earpiece.  IS THIS A LEGITIMATE COMPANY?

Its not the phone company's fault, its your company's fault for taking a list and blind dialing it.  Period.

This number has been calling me for the past 3 days.  Today alone was twice only hours apart.  They ask me about how long I have owned my house.  I then reply that I am on a military installation and they then hang up and call back either the next day or in a few hours.  I'm going to make sure next time they get that I am on a military base and to please not call me.  I'm still waiting for the whole Do Not Call List thing to really kick in just did it about 2 weeks ago.

After much frustration with receiving multiple calls from this scammer (800-728-3902) and others, I modified the end of my voice mail greeting today to include "If you are a solicitor, please hang up NOW and add this number to your do not call list." I will know in a week if this new change was effective.

I recieve several calls a day at my business from 1-800-728-3902 which then become hang-ups. I called the number back today and spoke with Debbie who said she would remove me from the list.  She was very prompt and nice.  We'll see if they honor that.

Tired of telemarketers
Kay D called twice this morning I didn't pick it up. When I saw the 1-800 on the caller ID I figured it was a Telemarketer or other commercial type call. Usually the caller ID will announce Tele Marketer But when it said Kay D  I looked to see what was on the screen... not recognizing the name I looked it up on line I'm sure it's some sort of a scam!! Sounds like someones name... I don't know them I don't pick up the call. They also didn't leave a message.

They do call many times in one day.  It's very irritating.  I read you post about asking to be taken your call list using an email account.  Why, so now you can harress me through email and sell that too to other sales people.  No thanks.

I had a market director from K-Designers stop by my house tonight and I told him the second that he walked in the door, "We want to get a quote and we are not going to buy today."  After 2 hours of presentation I said the same thing, " we want a quote to see if we can do this but not today" and all he did was say, "This is a one time promotional price", what if we do it for $8,000 will you do it today?  I said, "again I want a quote but not today" than he did his promotional talk for another 20 mins and gave us a price $3200 less ($4800).  

We asked what is the retail price and he would only say, "if is a lot more".  After 2.5 hours he left and we still don't know what our price would be tomorrow, after the "promotional price was over".  I am not impressed with a company that prides itself "on 100% customer satifaction" (the words of the marketing manager). Just a word of advice as to what to expect.

Yes, they do call that many times in a day, every day for a week.

This company, named, Kay D showed up repeatedly on my caller ID. I called them back and asked them why they were calling. The lady was nice and told me they were calling homeowners and would I give her my zip code so she could tell me why they were calling. I simply told her I'm NOT a homeowner. She took my number and said she would take me off the call list and that it takes up to 48 hours for it to take effect.

We do not own our place, we rent, we are not interested in siding. We no longer answer the phone, this number calls at least 4 times a day for 6 months.

Kay D called at 9PM Pacific Time.  I told the caller it's 9PM.  She hung up the phone without saying anything.
