they have been calling for over a month and one night they called 6 times in an hour!! now it is daily.. and when i did pick up the phone no one was there! i am so tired of seeing the damn number on my phone. LEAVE ME ALONE!!

They just called me this morning. I picked up and there was a recording saying, "This message is for: " but there was nothing after that. They haven't called back yet.

Called me again just now. Same thing as before (this message is for...).

my number too has got calls 5-12 times per day.. no message.. no clue as to why they are harrassing my number.. Saturday, first call just after 8am est.. then 20 minutes later another..

idea.. someone is paying for their toll free number, not to mention what sounds like the overhead to support this business (and rude staff).. if everyone they are calling (and friends), as long as you "block" your number when calling their number, call their toll free number 10-50 times per day, per person, this will cost them eventually a lot of money.. remember, BLOCK your number before calling, call, let them or their machine pick up, then hang up.. this cost to them should start to add up...

I get phone calls from this number everyday  3 times a day. Every 20 mins incraments from the first call. They either hang up and dont say anything or this message is for so and so bla bla bla. I just want them to stop!!!!

They called 3 times in 13 minutes!!! The calls start at 8:02am until 8:58pm,7 days a week! This is harassment!!!!!!

Is it concidered Harrassment when they call over 5 times within 30 minutes? They just keep on calling me. They ask to speak to David ******* which is my husbands name, but they aren't wanting him.... it's his father they want. How do I get them to understand that his father does not live with us, nor do we know where he is. They keep saying that they will continue to call my home until they speak to him. I don't think they can do that. I am going to start recording the conversations. I'm a one party state!

They call like every 15 minutes. Nobody's ever on the other end, so I hang up.

I live very close to this a** hat, so I decided to go pay him a visit.
He is an old guy with a tiny office in a strip type industrial park. You know the red brick tinted glass kind of place. Bad for him, the front door was propped open with the carpet by the door, so I let myself in and walked around the dump until I found him sitting in front of his 17 inch GLASS tube monitor from the early 90s. It was so pathetic. I marched right into his office addressed him by name and before he could even get up, I physically slammed the cease and desist letter on his desk. He was quite shocked, and I think he thought I was a process server at first. Needless to say he was more than kind enough to show me the way to the front door mumbling something about the cops as a laughed at him. If his company ever calls me again I will take this matter to court as others have:

How's this? They called today (Thanksgiving Day) at 8:17 am! Normally I'd just ignore it, but I picked up, said "F*** you" then hung up. Don't know if anyone was on the other end, nor do I give a crap.

They called me 3 times on Thanksgiving day. I was playing football so i didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message or anything. So I called the number back and a message said that their the "dept collector". I pay everything on time and stuff. So basically it's nothing to be worry about??

This number is a troll number. It's calling for some other company. Many other companies. No one is there when you answer and no message. They call no less than 3 times in less than an hour. After more than 3 weeks of them calling, I actually spoke when I answered my phone. Usually I just pick the phone up to dead air or ignore the call. This time I was going to tell them I wasn't whoever they were calling whether I was or not. Not 10 minutes later another company called me that has never called. It was a local company and their name showed up on caller ID. We have dealt favorably with them in the past so I replied. They were looking for SOME OTHER PERSON! I told them if this is how they handle their business we won't be doing business with them again. 3 weeks of annoying calls to a WRONG NUMBER. At least I think the calls from this number might have ended because I have not gotten a 3rd call from them and it's been an hour since I answered.

I noticed in this blog posting that some of you stated that you called the National DO NOT CALL registry. That will do NOTHING. IF its a debt collector calling the National DO NOT CALL registry is for telemarketing attepmts and unwanted sales calls.

Putting your number on a DO NOT CALL list for a debt collector is a waste of your time it does not apply to them.

Politely call the dent collector and tell them your number., tell them you are NOT the party they are seeking and ask them to remove your nu,ber from their computer AND their Auto dialer system (you have to mention that)

IF the calls continue for the wrong party you can either write a letter to the Attorney Genenrals Office in your state with a request to have them PLEASE request them to stop calling you or write the agency a letter and ask them to stop calling you.  In most cases the calls WILL stop.

These calls never stop!  By answering their calls you only indicate to them that you are "live bait", afraid of being annoyed and intimidated.  Stop being so nice to these snooping weasels!  They get your last name out of a phone directory and try to match it with their list of credit deadbeats.  They'll stick you with someone else's credit bill...if you let them. Report these scoundrels to your state attorney general.  It is time for the state's lawyers to regulate these sleaze=ball mini Madoffs.

I use to work in a Collection Agency before. If you all do not want them calling you anymore, what you simply can do is send a "Cease and Desist" letter basically tell them to not call you nor mail you any correspondence. If they do so after that then they are breaking the FDCPA and can be sued. Hope this helps you all, Good luck!

keep getting calls from 8007326606 all the time and sometimes many times during the day. They never leave a message and hang up when the answering mach picks up. If you pick up the phone sometimes you get a computer telling you to call them. Nobody at the other end seems to know what you are talking about when you do call them if someone answers.
