I have a debt with Volkswagen Financial.  They gave me this number to actually to settle the debt.  Now I'm terrified to call!!!!!!!!!!!   I have the money, and I want to settle with them, however It's kind of freaky how everyone is posting all this information about how relentless, and scamish they are.  I'm kind of at a loss.   I suppose I'll just have to call and see.

This outfit has been calling me several times a week for more than a year. I have never heard of the person they are seeking.

I keep getting calls at my home phone (402.431.0167) from Vital Recovery. The recorded voice asks for Kimberly Harlan.

I have had this phone number for 14 years and there is no Kimberly Harlan at this number.

I wish the calls would stop!!!

They ask for a Ryan Andrews, I just got this phone number so I asked the phone company about it. And they said that they had no record of a Ryan Andrews owning this number.

I don't know who these people are or who this Ryan Andrews person is they are looking for all I know is I want them to stop calling all hours of the night.

A new trick by this collection firm...  Caller ID reads INCOMPLETE DATA.  It appears such calls cannot be blocked by existing technology and no caller id record is left on phone logs.  Their call does ring your phone, however, and they are able to leave messages.  The technology war with this scum takes another step forward.

I was getting calls asking for someone else 2 or 3 times per week... I finally returned the call and someone picked up. I told them they have the wrong number. She asked for my number and I heard her key something in on the PC - she said she removed my number from their listing. We'll see. Give it a try.

Boy I am tired of them calling, for 9 months now between 2-6 times a day!  I decided to call them back using the Google phone <grin>  apparently they don't like when you harrass them back! The Google phone shows up as a 700 number.  I have filled complaints, tried the certified letter <they don't pick them up>  So, I figured I would post it here about calling from the Google phone and it is a free call! Kind of interesting.

I keep getting calls from this number and do not know why.

They call me about a debt. And I tell them I dont care even if I did owe the money, I would not pay them cause they are [***]. They can shove the debt where the sun dont shine. They use scare tactics to make you do what they want. Its them trying to assert an authority they dont possess. If you let them scare you then they win. They have no power. Unless it is a government debt they really have no grounds to do anything. Just let them blow off steam for as long as they want. And if all else fails, File bankruptcy. Screw debt collectors. The companies already got more money then they deserve for the crap they sell. and the debt collectors are only taking over the debt to get the last bit of coin they can from you, and at the final settlement date the debt collector and the original company split the money. Debt collectors are a companies last resort, A "Hail Mary" if you will. If you pay, they win. If you dont, they have to stop contacting you eventually. and if they move the date on your credit report then you can sue them. So bide your time and you can win in the end.

continue to get calls from this number several times a day, but they never say what they are calling about. and they are calling asking for my maiden name and  i have been married for 6 yrs!!!

Called my WORK yesterday and my cell today...so for no more calls..was automated

Call 4 times a day. I gave no credits cards or debt at all. On the DNC list.

Amazingly annoying...a call twice a day? That is harassment!

New name for this collection agency is BP Law Group.  Leaves threatening voicemail about criminal charges being file against you if you don't pony up the money to pay them X amount of dollars that they CLAIM you owe.  Told them to "F" off and blocked their number.

No longer vital solutions.  Name has been changed to BP Law Group.  Still a 3rd or 4th party scam debt collector.  Block their nber and good riddance.

hi just got this call he said his name was Stan Cash and I needed to give him my last SS# I said no and you are calling my work he said give me another number I said I don't have one he said ok I hung up Creepy

He was talking so fast I didn't catch his name or "credentials" - he called for someone no longer employed at my company.

If they changed their name to BP Law Group, they changed it back to Vital Recovery today.  At least that's the name the man with a very gruff voice left on my cell phone's VM this afternoon about a very serious matter that I needed to call them back about.  Also, I *67'd the number back and got a recorded message stating that they were in fact Vital Recovery Debt Collectors.  Whatever name they choose to go with, I will never answer their calls nor call them back.  And if they are calling in regards to a Volkswagen debt, seriously, doesn't Volkswagen have enough troubles already??  Do they really want to be associated with these slime-balls??  Sorry of the day I ever purchased a Volkswagen...won't ever make that mistake again!

Says they are a vital recoveries center and that I am in debt ig like I dont have a bank account yet you call me. Preety aure its a prank call.
