left a message saying that is not a sales call but you're attention is required. 1-800-750-6343

asked to speak to me and said it was important that I return the call and that it was not a sales call.

Same senario as everyone else, left name and 1800-750-6343. Said it was a small business matter and to return call to the number.

This company is called Eastern Account Services.  They called because they were collecting for Comcast Cable.  The stupidest part is that this was a bill from 2 years ago for $155 that we paid already!  If you owe Comcast ANY money at all, they will NOT turn on your cable.  We've had continuous service for 2 years now...

I answered, they asked for my boyfriend by name. I asked what the matter was about, they asked if I was his wife, I said I was his girlfriend and they told me that they were a collection agency for Comcast and that he owed them $500. There is no such balance and I would recommend that anyone who gets a call like this go directly through Comcast and not give these people any money...

Just called my cell phone looking for my mother. The caller said their name was Jim Kelly. The number that they called from is 203-270-2924 but they left 1-800-750-6343 as a call back number. Pronounced my mother's name wrong and listed the reason for calling as "a very urgent personal matter."

the caller ask that I call him back, he leaves no name or reason for calling.  He also states he's not selling anything.

called and left a message saying my name and to call barbara back at ext. 235....thats it...she didn't say why she was calling.....

Same situation! Got a call a few times from 203-270-2924 and was asked to call Marie back at 1800-750-6343. I called back once with no return phone call and then she called again a few minutes ago. What is this?

THESE PEOPLE ARE INVASIVE AND REVEAL PERSONAL INFORMATION. VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY... ASKED ME MY NAME AND NUMBER AND WHEN I REPLIED I WOULDNT REVEAL, THEY TOLD ME WHO I WAS...THEN THEY CALLED ME 3 TIMES OVER AGAIN.

John left me a message stating he was not selling anything but needed to talk to me. He works for the collection agency.
I had received a notice from the collection agency about a month prior which I straightened out directly with comcast(I did not even owe them anything, they issued me a refund). Luckily I kept my reciept from comcast for the equipment return (the original problem) so all I had to do was fax them the receipt.
Comcast was supposed to straighten it out after I got the first notice but obviously they did not.
