Donny call my cell

keep having messages on cell from Eastern Account system 800-750-6343 ext 220 The person never says their name or my name in the message.

My APP automatically blocked this call as a known scammer - over 2200 reports!!

Left a recording that said they were the collection desk at a garbled company name, and to return the call to 1-800-750-6343, extension 223. I owe no one, including Comcast, any back payments. This is just another scam call trying to shake you up so they can get your personal information and steal your identity, etc.Those responsible for these %$#@(*& calls should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Left a message saying it was a debt collector

This number is a collection agency attempting to collect on a debt...

calling my cell phone is a violation of fdcpa. calling about a debt that isn't mine is illegal as well.

I saw somewhere on here "Eastern Account Services" which I seem to recall is for a hospital bill collector.  Does that make sense to any of you?

they continue to call my cell phone. I returned their calls and left a message. they never answer or return the call. this is illegal harassment and illegal to call my cell phone about a debt I don't owe. Eastern Account Systems, various extensions.

This number is spam.

Someone called my mother saying they were part of Microsoft and they found hackers trying to hack into her computer and they needed her information to clear it up.  They gave the number 800-750-6343 as a number for us to call back after we verified through Microsoft that this was all true.  IT WAS A SCAM! These people somehow got my mothers credit card information and charged 300$ on it! DON'T TRUST THEM!

They threatened to come to my home and hand me paperwork on Tuesday .  Waited all day and they didn't show up lol. I called my bank and they said they said not to give them my information as it sounds like a scam

This sounds like one of the collectors wrote it to be honest. Besides that Im honestly too broke to pay attention. Im out of work at the moment and struggling badly to survive.

Some guy, i think he said his name was Andy, called me from this number looking for someone that had the same last name as my girlfriend but a different first name. He did not specify what this was about but he did ask if i was her husband and i made him repeat her name again. I told him that nobody by that name lived here and he hung up on me. These people have been calling me for a while now and this is the first time i actually spoke with one of them. This is probably one of those debt collection agencies that buys old debts in bulk with no proof of said debt and they try to collect even though they cant really do anything to your credit if they cannot produce proof that you owe the debt. When i started receiving these calls i checked mine and my girlfriends credit reports and there is nothing out of the ordinary for either of us. Always ask a debt collector to give you proof that you owe the debt, and that you owe the debt to them. If they cannot prove it you dont have to pay them anything unless you foolishly do so on your own free will, do your homework before you even talk in detail about anything and certainly dont make any verbal agreements as they record the conversation and they also mention it is being recorded when you answer the call.

Legitimate debt collector but had my number by mistake.

Got several calls from different extensions at this number. Called back all the extensions got voicemail on all. Pressed 1 to talk to agent and waited on hold for 5 minutes. The agent who answered was very polite. I told her I get scam debt collector calls everyday and know I do not owe anyone. I said I would give her no information other than the phone number. She said that's fine, sometimes they have the wrong number, and looked up the number and said they were trying to reach 'Susan'. I said there was no Susan at this number and that Susan was using my number ( a very common sequential number) instead of giving her real number.

Again, agent was very polite and said they would remove my number from the system.

Got a call from "1-800-750-6343"  Called back, got phone tree identifying itself as Eastern Account Services. . . .

My computer won't even allow me to visit your website due to security concerns, your company did not contact me in any official capacity except a voicemail, and I am supposed to believe that you are an "industry leader"? I do not buy it. Your business practices are shady at best sir.

Answered the call from this number to shine on the scammer. All that was there was the sound of a phone ringing twice -- the caller then apparently hung up.

Second time I've received a call from this number 800 750 6343.  Left msg that they are a debt collection agency and to call back.  Since this call only comes in on my mobile phone (the number of which I NEVER give out to any company or business), I disregard it.

They called me but did not leave a message.  I have never had comcast.  We have had dish for over 15 years.
