I received the same voicemail message other folks have described on here.  I too have perfect credit and am never late on any of my bills.  I have never had an account with Time Warner or Comcast.  I believe this may be a scam.

If you were a legimate business why would I be calling your cell phone that is not a number in the North America.

Woman called; "We have an important message from Eastern account system. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call 800-750-6343."

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Called me and my call blocker app immediately picked up it was spam.  They left a voice mail to immediately call them.  I blocked them.  I don't owe anyone any money, past or present.  Obvious scam.

They keep calling and leaving messages to call them back. I checked my credit report today and all of my accounts are in good standing.  I don't owe anyone any money. They can keep on getting blocked. Send me something in writing.

Kept calling so I finally answered.  Forget the company's name but stated they were trying to collect on my Citi Bank credit card.  As I have no Citi Bank credit card, never had one, don't owe anyone anything, I told them to stuff it.  They are now blocked.

Many many calls from this phone number that I will not answer. Says it is from a debt collector and to call back with a different extension everytime. I have no debt. Now they stopped leaving voice messages, they just keep calling.

After about 25 calls, of which all but the first were blocked, I finally got fed up and called them.  They were looking for someone I never heard of.  As I have had my phone number for 5 years I told them to quit calling me.  They said they would.  We'll see because if I get one more I'll sue them.

I have Comcast Cable. My bill is on autopay. I am current on the bill. I consider the number a scam.

Probably, but considering that person posted in 2010 does it really matter?

800-750-6343 has called 3 times today,  every 2 to 3 hours.  No messages were left.  I pay my bills as they come in. I used to work in the financial industry and occasionally did collections.  When I retired the way our company did business was to send a letter or do a courtesy call with our name,  contact number, hours of business and ask for the person we were trying to reach,  first and last name.
Sadly there are so many scammers out there these days.  I verify any number before answering.

Called my cell twice during the day, no voice mail. Called my husband's cell today, no voice mail. Called the house asking for me but wouldn't leave any details (my husband answered)... creepy! The only outstanding bill I have is from February (just over 90 days) and it's being disputed so why on earth are they calling all 3 numbers? Gotta be a scam
