- AmyI get calls with a prerecorded message from 800-825-4425. When I return the calls, they ask if I am Kathryn Smith. When I tell them "no", and tell them to take me off their list I get hung up on. Once I asked what the nature of their business was and I was hung up on. I continue to receive these calls, even though I have told them that the person they are looking for is not at this number. As I was explaining my frustration (I got another call just this morning) about STILL being on the list after asking to be removed, I was hung up on again (the woman's name was Simone)! This has been going on for almost a year now! I called back to speak to a supervisor and a man named James asked if he could help me and he apologized and said he would take my number off the list. I don't think he was a supervisor and I still wanted to complain about how Simone treated me, so I called back again. This time a man named Lamont answered and said he would see if there was a supervisor "near" him, then I was mysteriously disconnected. ENOUGH!!!

- Tired of message on my answering machineI have been receiving multiple messages from a female recorded voice stating that they are calling from Apelas, "this is not a solicitation call" and to please call back at 1-800-825-4425. After looking them up on this website and calling them back, my interaction with the representative was highly disturbing. They first fished for who I was, and when I stated it was not appropriate to ask that without identifying themselves first, the rep then started throwing out the name of someone I have no knowledge of. When I asked them to stop calling my home phone number, the representative became quite belligerent. I called the police afterward, who instructed me to file a harassment complaint if they call back.
- James| 2 repliesThey are calling my sister too. Maybe about a payroll check that bounced at a check cashing place. I called an attorney to get it all sorted out. You should too. Hyde & Swigart. Offices in AZ and CA. Az is 602-265-3332, and CA is 619-233-7770.

- tired of these callsThis company called "The Palace" calls and when you say you have the wrong number they are totally out of line and won't tell you who they are or what they want. The messages make it sound like some mobster group. I've asked them to take our number off and they say it is showing one of their customers in the white pages. It's weird. I'm tired of their calls.

- Dawn ManserSomeone from Apellas keeps calling and they are very RUDE, mean, unprofessional.... they will not say what kind of company they are. When I ask them to quit calling and remind them that according to Section 805A of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act- they are NOT allowed to call a persons place of employment! I am the receptionist there and I feel that I am being harrassed! This has been going on for at least 5 months. I want these calls to stop immediately.

- Receptionist| 1 replySomeone from Apelles keeps calling my place of employment for someone whom is never in the office. This time it was Debbie. Debbie is very RUDE, mean, unprofessional.... and so are the other people whom have called here in the past. I'm sick of it. I think they get pleasure out of telling "me" off??? They do not say what kind of company they are, however, I have called the 800 number myself and learned that Apelles IS a collection agency. When I ask them to quit calling and remind them that according to Section 805A of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act- they are NOT allowed to call a persons place of employment, they argue that fact with me! I don't need this. I am the receptionist there and I feel that I am being harrassed! This has been going on for at least 5 months. I wanted these calles to stop immediately so we contacted out Town Attourney and he said there's really nothing we can do but hang up on them.

- ruththis company continues to call my number looking for someone that does not reside here, when i asked to be removed from the calling list i was told that they would not,a woman calling herself donna refused to let me speak to a supervisor or manager when i requested it. this company should be closed down to poor customer service. when i did get a supervisor she called herself mrs.right and refused to remove the number as well. i have been swore at,yelled at and in general just mistreared by this company.

I asked the man who answered what they do. He responded that they are a customer contact center. I hung up b/c it sounded fishy. Anyhow, I came across these websites:
