Representatives from Apelles are leaving me messages on my work phone.  I returned the message on Friday, January 9, 2008, and confirmed that the person they are looking for does not work here.  I asked them to remove my number.  Still, I received another message on Monday, January 12, 2008.  When I called again, the representative refused to identify himself, he refused to say who he was looking for, and his language was abusive.  I called back and got another representative who identified himself as James Copas.  I again confirmed that the person they are looking for does not work at this number.  I asked to speak to a supervisor.  He gave me a supervisor's name, William Retter, but said he could not transfer me to the supervisor.

I have been getting phone calls from this company. Now they have arrange to take money out of my account and I am fighting to get it back. Their people are rude and this is one business that should be taken out of business.  Chick I just talked today told me she didn't know when it would be back in my account. I told her ok. Then I guess I need to take this further then you.  Then it was a different story.  I have no problem paying what I owe but when I can pay it not when you screw me up with others. I hope BBB or Attorney General's office does something with them.

We have received several phone calls from this number in the past couple of weeks.  A female voice keeps leaving a message that says "this is not a sales call, please call us back........etc...".  We want our name removed from this calling list.  DO NOT CALL OUR NUMBER ANYMORE!

I get a call on my cell from these guys every other day so I finally called back today and they told me who they were trying to reach, and it was someone I had never heard of. So she said they must have the wrong number and that she will remove my name fom the list. She didn't state the reason for their calling or anything.

They have been calling my government office phone every day for over a week.  They were calling me for my daughters overdraft fees from her former bank.  I told the woman to stop calling my work number and she said "well, that won't happen" and she got rude saying she doesn't understand why I am surprised about this bill.  I told her I don't meddle in my daughter's bills.  I got the fax number and put it in writing to cease and desist contacting me for this bill and quoted the FTC ruling 15 USD 1692c SS 805(a)(3) ...at the consumer's place of employment.... section.  The FTC website allows you to report this company also.

just an update...i received these calls every other day for several months.  i finally went to www.fcc.gov and filed a complaint.  they ask for the dates and times of the calls and names of people you spoke with.  i provided all the info i could and wouldn't you know it...the calls finally stopped.  keep in mind that when i asked the company to stop calling, one rep told me out right that he would not stop calling and one rep lauged at me.  the fcc sent a copy of my complaint to me in the mail, outlining my rights also.  if these people don't stop calling, go to the fcc's website and file a complaint.  be sure to get the rep's name when you call the number back!

Same thing. I have become annoyed at the repeated 'missed calls' on
my cell phone from this number. Finally, I called the company and
told them my cell phone number and not to call me anymore. Agent
asked if I was thus and such, which I am not, never heard of her,
and he said, 'That is all you had to say' and hung up on me.
I would like to tie his 800 number around his...Am curious to see
if this actually stops the calls.

I have been calls from this number for months on and off. Finally, I
got tired of the 'missed call' from that number and called it. I asked
the name of the company and was reluctantly told the name, Appelles.
I asked him please to not call number anymore. He asked me if I was
some name I don't know. I said no, and I don't know here. He said,
That is all you had to say, and hung up on me. Rude. Slow burn.
Hope this was the end of it.

Caller stated i needed to call them back. after i returned the call they would not say why they were calling just that they would keep calling my work cell until i responded. after a nother call i gave them my cell number and they asked for some i did not know. after repeated questions about the person i did not know they agreed to remove my cell number and mark it as bad.

Wow the number is googled! SCAM! replies to Rose
Well now in 2009 its a "collection agency" being over carefull i used a work unlisted personal name cell to place the call back to tell them (get this) I pulled my credit just last month and of course Im in the clear and high credit rating! NO COLLECTIONS! Scam! Of what im not sure. Did not give out ANY INFO. to them. If a company new who they are calling i beleive they would first of all stay on the line when I do answer the phone... when I dont answer I get a recorded message just to call The Palace and a number. Normally collections leave a message for a so and so to call back. Sounds fishy to me. I just let them keep callin doesnt bother me.

I too received many calls from this number.  It is indeed a collection agency.  Unfortunately, my new phone number was the number of someone who was in a lot of trouble, as we receive a couple of calls a week for this chick.  They left a message to call back 1-800-825-4425.  Annoying!

I've gotten a few calls from this number, always while I'm not home, and they never leave a message.  Today they called while I was home, so I picked it up because I was curious who it was (caller ID said "The Palace" which is just bizarre) and I wanted to see what the heck it was.  When I answered, I got a recording asking me to hold for the next available representative.  I hung up after 30 seconds and two repetitions of the message - I didn't appreciate being told to wait when THEY are the ones who called ME.  I still don't know exactly what this call was for.  My bet is some kind of collections agency, though my caller ID doesn't say Appelles (kind of sounds like "The Palace" though, doesn't it?).  Either way, it sounds fishy based on everyone else's experiences with them.
