Don't know who this is, but I called from a different phone and they answered as "ARC".  Don't have any past due bills, or judgements so I don't know who this is.

Quick google search showed this number is involved with SCE&G (South Carolina Energy & Gas). Strange, as I haven't lived in SC in 2 years now...

Someone named Todd called my business phone to request information about my social security number and my address etc..  I NEVER verified anything. Consumers beware!!!!! caller id 706-868-0800 and his         call back# 800-825-8038.

Nvr called this number back. It comes up as 706-868-0800 and it leaves a automated voice mail with the number 800-825-8038.

This is a collection for PSNC Energy, a utility company serving North Carolina. PSNC had my address wrong and as I did not pay the bill, because they sent it to the wrong address, they sent it to collection...

PSNC Energy is so screwed up. They billed be for someone's house in Raleigh Duram - then sent it to collections. I suggest you to call them and fix the problem before they report it on your credit report.

Called for Mr. Micharl White. wrong number

Recording left msg at my work phone# about a debt collection from Contract...something, could not understand recording. I don't have any outstanding debt, have not called back. I will post again if I decide to call (but probably won't).

I have an account with PSNC, which has never EVER been late even one DAY.....not even when I went into the hospital to have a c-section was the bill late, in fact I usually pay a month or two ahead.  This number called my cell earlier but I was not able to answer it.  I have no clue why they would be calling me - but the next time they do, I will answer to see what they screwed up!!!

They keep calling my cell phone # and I do not know who they are.  Understand they are from Carolina.  Have never been in Carolina in my life.  Have no idea why they would be calling me.  Have not answered the phone call or voice mail.  Don't intend to.

I got another call on my cell - didn't answer, it went to voice mail.  The message (automated, naturally) stated the company was Contract Callers, Inc. so I searched and found their website.  It is:

According to the site, they do collections for various industries, not just PSNC Energy or SCE&G.  They also handle healthcare accounts and municipal accounts (such as electric or water/sewer, if handled by the local municipality instead of a corporation).  I'm about to call them back and see what they have; I will request written verification of whatever they have and if they do not comply they will be getting a "nice" (as in, not very) Cease And Desist Letter.

Do not know who contract caller is. They managed to get my direct line at work and I have never given my direct line out to anyone. My family contacts me via my cell, but they are harassing me at work.

If you send them a letter in writing telling them to "cease and desist all future telephone calls persuant to the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act" then they must communicate only in writing--even if this is a valid debt you owe. Call and ask for fax number and also send certified mail to prove you sent it. Otherwise, collection companies just claim they never received the letter.   Google "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act" to learn about your rights.

Keep getting this number calling me on my new cell phone number and when I answer, all i hear is three beeps and it hangs up.  I called them back to take my number out of their system.  The company is a collection agency "Contract Claims" I believe they said.  The guy said they would take my number out of their system...I hope they do.

I've gotten three calls, at work.  The automated voice says "This is a call for [my name]. If you are [my name], please press 1."

I press one.  It says "I repeat; this call is for [my name]. If you are NOT [my name], please disconnect."  I press 1 again, and it says "Disconnecting" and hangs up.

This number just called my cell phone.

Strange thing is I have never lived in or anywhere near this company's service area.

Tired of this EVERYDAY Calling from these people. Don't owe any outstanding debts and tired of the annoying messages left on my machine................706-868-0800 and 800-825-8038
