I have reported these harassing phone calls to the Do Not Call Registry complaint site.  I suggest everyone else, if you have been registered with DNC for at least 30 days, do the same.  It's the only way they will stop.  I have managed to get four other numbers to stop calling me in the last year.  Report each and every time for every number they reach you at.

I live in Ohio, never the Carolinas.  I am NEVER late on my utilities, yet these scum sucking low lifes won't stop calling!

I received several calls from phone # (800) 825-8038 to my personal cellular phone that no other has access to..
I always ask who's calling, but the person always responds that it is a personal call for a person with my name.
Without giving my name, I respond with: I don't speak with anyone who doesn't provide their identity, or business.
Then, I hang up.

Reporting this number every time they call.  They never ID themselves so they have been reported to DNC complaints.

A collection company? Haven't been late with any bill, nor had one go to collection. However, I've had a LOT of calls from unknown numbers at my new-to-me number since I moved to a different state, and several have been from collection agencies. The person(s) who had my number must have had some financial difficulty. Am blocking this number, and will report them to donotcall.gov if they persist in calling.

ARC is a known debt scammer and is not a real debt collector.  The person who had your phone number before might have been harassed by these crooks.  Making blanket statements like that is not wise.  After all, if you get rid of that number and they start calling the next person, they will be saying the same thing about you.

A$$HOLES called me again and were Automatically Blocked.  Last called me on January 19.  They are Contract Callers also known as CCI.  They are $cumbags who don't care if they have the wrong number for the one they're trying to contact.  They can call all they want because once I block them, the phone doesn't even ring!

Who is this company?  They call multiple times.  Three times today already.

Got an automated system when I answered.  Gave me the choice to push 2 if the person they asked for was not there and then push 3 if it is the wrong number, which I did.  They called again today.

Caller Automatically Blocked!!  Haven't called since February 14.  Contract Callers also known as CCI are a third party Skumbag Debt Collection agency.  They buy the debt from the original debt collection agency.  Then they use any phone number they can find and start their Harassment Campaign calling daily and using different phone numbers and caller IDs. I've had them Blocked since they first called as CCI on December 29, 2017.  My phone doesn't ring when Blocked Calls come in, so I don't care when they call!!!

Contract Callers looking for someone I have never heard of.  I called back, told them they had a wrong number and they said they would remove my number from their call list.  I had already used their automated system to do the same thing but calls kept coming so I called them and spoke with a human this time.

I doubt they will, which is why I posted what you should do on page 3.  Might be a good idea to read it.

Automatically Blocked.  Called yesterday March 2 and again today.  Both times caller ID said Out of area.  Skumbag third-party Debt Collection agency call any previous phone numbers for whoever they're looking for.

They CONSTANTLY call my cell phone every day, and then about 10-15 minutes later another number pops up from some place in Illinois.  No message is ever left - just BOTHERSOME with calling the phone on a daily basis.

Called again on March 6 & 7...still Automatically Blocked.  Contract Callers debt collection agency also known as CCI. SKUMBAG third party debt collectors.  They don't care if it's the wrong number for who they're looking for.  They're Blocked so I don't care either!      Lately using "Out Of Area" as their caller ID.

Scamming debt collectors. Keep calling, each time asking for a different person, never me. They tried to tell me I was liable for someone’s debt if I had their phone number, even if I want the person. Threatened to have me sent to jail if I didn’t pay. Yeah, right. Just an all-around scam. I suspect these aren’t even real debts. I’ve had this number since the 90s, so no reason other names should be associated with this number. But I’ve received about a dozen phone calls, all asking for different people, from this one debt collection group.

They call and do not leave voice mails.  When I answer they ask me to verify my address so I ask who they are and say I'm not giving personal information to people I don't know, then they tell me to disregard the call and hang up.

Landline-Didn't answer-no message left 5:55pm.
