I got a call from this number and they left a 2 second message which said (as best as I could make it out (it was garbled)) "obtained will be used for that purpose". That's all the message said. From that, I would say that it's a person or agency trying to collect a debt. No company name, my name was never mentioned, just what was said above.

    Blocked by Ooma now!
Call from this # said NCB on caller ID. Left a voice mail saying call back to <someone> at extension 2104. Suspect scam / fishing for closed debts because (1) voice mail did not mention any name of person in the house and (2) no one in our house has outstanding debts or all debts have been legitimately resolved.

While I am on the FTC DNC list, only legitimate companies abide by this. Thank goodness for my Ooma Premier service on my VOIP. When I get these calls, it's just once. I add to my personal blacklist and I never hear from them again.

Got a call today from Brian Sullivan.  Dude took some serious attitude when I asked him to identify himself.  Was looking for someone who doesn't live here, and just gave me all kinds of sass.  I called him "Attitudy Judy" and he got really upset.

Don't give out my cell phone to many people. Some guy called asking for someone I don't know. He repeated my # back to me and again asked me for the person (a male, and I am female) and again I told him he had the wrong number. Hung up on him. He was rude.

Yes, another thread with examples of predatory and cowardly 3rd party debt collection tactics. Yes, another A+ rated BBB report out of the Washington, Eastern PA office. Maybe they're just to busy processing complaints to notice trends or similarities of non-complaint debt collection tactics preying on consumers, relatives, friends, and others. NCB Management kinda like NCO Group http://www.bbb.org/washington-dc-eastern-pa/B ... ose-pa-80017713# Wonder what networks they work with like APAC, Convergys, Convergent Outsourcing, Protocol Global Solutions, NARS?

Talk about your kitchen table debt collectors, get a load of their "office".  Pretty dumpy house too if you ask me.

OMG!  No wonder he's desperately trying to steal money from people.  He's badly in need of a can of paint.  Do you think if we contact one of those DIY house repair shows they'll fix his sad little abode and he'll stop bothering people?

Probably not.  A leopard can't change it's spots, and a thief can't stop being a thief.

I think Trevose is on the outskirts of Philadelphia somewhere, and for some reason I thought it was one of the nicer suburbs.  Maybe this guy lives in the "bad side" of town?

....it IS a scam.  Must be hurting your "business" since so many people have posted information on you losers.  No one has a problem paying debts to the legitimate owner of that debt.  As per the FDCPA, prove it - in writing!
