I am a call center agent and I and my peers are receiving calls to our clients pertaining to debt collection. All I can say is that.... these debt collectors are all stupid. STUPID in a real sense of the word. Why? Because they resort to harassing people when in fact they are not the ones these people owed nothing to them, not even a single cent. Sometimes I think these people lack the education of being a debt collector and has no business being in Customer Service. They are so rude and talks like as if they own the heaven and the earth. CURSE BE UPON THEM!!!!!!!! Below is one of the messages I got for our poor client.

<our client's name>  this  is  Judie  McGreer  for  NCB.  And  they  want  to  know  when  the  balance  on  this  account  can  be  paid.  No  more  games.  I'm  not  a  babysitter.  The  here  is  1-800-828-1110.  Extension  1351.  Get  back  to  me  now.

A Kevin Blocker called my house looking for my ex-husband.  He asked if I knew how to get ahold of him or his family.  He was very pleasant.  I told him that I haven't seen or heard from my ex-husband in over 18 years.  He asked that if I hear from him or his family that I pass on his phone number.  He wouldn't give me any details of why he was calling only that the company name was NCB.  He left the phone number 800-828-1110 ext 1415

This company has called me everyday, they have broken all the rules, wanting my bank info over the phone, and then told me they would see me in court if I did not send them six post dated checks. I have gone to an attorney and have filed a complaint. I had no problem paying my monthly credit card, except when they decreased my credit limit and hit me with a late fee (Hurricane Wilma) and raised my interest. Why can't we bug the [***] out of the credit card company to make a deal the way NCB does. Mrs. Shinlinski ext 1392 let's make a deal take off the late fees, the interest rate and I'll make my payments of $89.00 per month, other then that you can suck wind. Keep calling me, your in violation and being recorded.

"Christian" and asked for my daughter.  She has not lived at home since she started college 11 years ago.  He was irate that I would not give him her phone number.  He said that he had a very important message for her.  She has never heard of him or his company.  Call was nothing but harrassment.

This caller calls all the time.  I know it's a scam and I don't answer the phone.  At one point there was a girl and I did talk to her and
it had something to do with a payment from 8 years ago that was paid. When asked to send a bill or statement it never happened.  Everyday, this
caller calls and I am sick and tired of it.  I want to get rid of this pest as soon as possible.  I know he is trying to scam people and I need to stop this call once and for all..

SOmeone named steven cruz x1871 called me from this number with a message of EXTREME URGENCY ...SAYING THE WORST THING I COULD EVER DO IS IGNORE THIS PHONE CALLL...

the CALLER ID SAID (215) 244-4200 and then he left a message saying to  call him back at the number we are talking about.

I have just returned to work and am barely making minimum wage and a GD collector has started calling my work. I intend on writting them and letting them know my employer will not tolerate intrusion during my work time. But until then I am stupified at the levels these collectors go to.
I have done my research and seen several programs to the length these collectors will go to. The intimidation and fear they use to make a living is going to come back to them one day...... Its Karma baby

I talked to Steven today, and he claims my husband has a debt of over $1500 with State Farm, which is a credit card. My husband has never had a credit card with State Farm, only a car loan that doesn't have to be paid off until five years from now.
Since my husband is a US Marine and deployed at the moment, Steven was pressuring me to make a decision on this matter in my husbands absence when I'm not even on my husbands State Farm account. I told him this, but he didn't seem to care, only wanted money.
I'd rather clear this up with State Farm in person than with someone over the phone.

I received a call from a Mr. Brown (1-800-828-1110 x.1861) asking for my ex-husband's ex-wife. I just built this home and got this number 5 years ago. My ex-husband and I married over 13 years ago and divorced almost 4 years ago, so I have no idea how they would have connected the two of us. We don't even have the same last name. When I asked him how he got my number, he said the number was listed as a relatives number. I told him that unless he'd started an ex-wifes club we were not at all related. He promptly noted that he'd remove my number from the system. I don't know where these people get their information, but at least he was not rude. Good luck to the rest of you. It appears it's much more of a hassle if the person they are looking for is actually related to you.

Called at work for another coworker. Have not ever dealt with these people, but HAVE dealt with collection agencies.

Cease and desist letter, people.  It's a Godsend. Seriously.

Google it so you better understand, then send one to them CERTIFIED MAIL.

It WILL stop them, I promise.

I had a Maria Monaco 800-828-1110 x1322 who kept leaving messages like, "This is Maria Monaco with your ass."

A WOMAN BY THE NAME OF JUDY MCGURK  AT 800-828-1110 X 1351 HAS BEEN CALLING NON-STOP!! SHE'S VERY RUDE AND HEARTLESS.  I TOLD HER TO STOP CALLING ME AT WORK.  SHE SAID SHE CAN IF SHE WANTS TO BECAUSE THERE ISN'T A LAW THAT SAYS SHE CAN'T CALL EVENTHOU I TOLD HER TO STOP.  SHE'S BRAKING THE LAW IN SO MANY WAYS.  THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN.

SHE'S A TOTAL IDIOT! I GOT THE SAME CALL AND SAME WORDS! SHE'S RUDE AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S DOING! I HOPE KARMA GETS TO HER ONE DAY...SHE REALLY THINKS THAT BE HARRASING AND BEEN RUDE WILL GET PEOPLE TO LISTEN.. SHE'S WRONG AND SHE'S BRAKING THE LAW!!!!!!
