This is NCB Management, which is a third party debt collector that purchases loans from Rise Credit, which is a predatory lender based on a Native American Indian reservation, so they are not bound by normal collection laws. I had a loan with Rise which, unfortunately, I had to default on after my husband got extremely sick. They have been absolutely a nightmare to deal with, and I wish I had never heard of them. Best wishes to anyone else working with them, they are horrendous.

They are most certainly bound by normal collection laws. Just because they are based on a reservation does not place them above the law whatsoever. It has been proven they must adhere to the debt collection act. It has also been proven that regardless of what these native american predatory loan firms will say to you, their debt falls under any collection law in the united states. This also includes bankruptcy.
Most of these native american pay day or online loan companies are paying the reservations to use an address within the reservation with a belief they can get away with more than those companies outside the reservations. Most of these firms are owned and operated by individuals who are not native american at all.

Just to reply, I am a sixty something female.  I have credit.  I pay my bills before they are due and always more then the minimum payment requested. Today I get a call looking for my husband.  LET ME REPEAT.  I pay all the bills, I answered the phone I may add my personnel cell phone. Asking for him, I related I was his wife he was not home.  I would have him call please leave a # for him to call, Woman on other end said that as against state law, and hung up.

Robo-dialing your cell phone is against Federal law. Let them know this the next time they calll--and you intend to take them to court if the calls continue.

Good, they left a message which means they are now required to do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

At which point this is what you need to do:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state:  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Called and left a message regarding a debt I had with Santanter. This would be my boyfriends debt. Seriously wish I would have answered the phone just to [***] with these people.

Have received multiple calls from these losers but since I never answers calls from numbers I don't know, I let it go to voicemail.  The couple of messages they did leave came from a "Eddie Ford" and an extension of 130.  I'm sure he is there to "assist me" like the message says.

Received a call from NCB Management @ 800-828-1110. Did not answer as I do not recognize the number. A male speaker left a number to call back regarding a debt collection. Is he crazy, I have no debt and how did he get my number, I pay extra to have my number blocked.

800-828-1110. "Tom Reed" called from ECB Management, said he was collecting a debt from a company I didn't recognize. Told him no such debt existed and he asked for information to "take my number out of the system." This is clearly a scam operation that is randomly calling numbers.

Left message about a debt owed to a company I've never heard of.  No outstanding debts here!

I received a Friend Request from Cheray Knight on Facebook, A short time later she called me at work and said I had a large debt owed on  a credit card and could we please make another payment.  I asked her several questions and she asked me some very personal questions regarding payments being made and what other kind of debt we had.  She finally asked me for my checking acct information to set up payments and when I told her I had to call back she gave me this number and her extension.  I knew when she started asking me such detailed personal questions on my work line that the credit card company does not have that something was not right.   Why would a debt collector send me a friend request on facebook?   Creepy as hell!!
