800-845-2074 calls me and hang up, every day

This number calls us about 3-4 times a day as well and we're only had this number for a few weeks.  We unfortunantly have SureWest now.

Got a message on my voicemail AT WORK from Kelly @ Family Reader Service 800-845-2074. Took me 6 tries to get through to that number. Asked how they got my info and they left a message at my employer. She said they purchase mailing lists from the local telephone providers, verified my home address and that my work number was listed as my home number. I told her I HAVE no landline phone. She said they've been having a problem with this reported by other people and she would remove my info from their system. We'll see how that goes..........

Like the rest these calls started after getting a new phone number.  However if you have comcast service, you can block the call. Dial star 60 and follow the prompts.  You can block up to twelve numbers. If they try to call they receive a message saying you are not currently accepting calls.

this number been calling for the past 3 days, they don't leave any msgs either.  i don't know who they are. I don't know how they got my number and i do not like the fact they have my number with out my permission

We have our phone with Time Warner Cable since a week now and we already received 3 calls from this number (800 845-2074). No one was on the line when we answered. Clearly, they have easy access to the customer database.

Has called me twice.  Onece yesterday afternoon and 5 minutes ago and 9:15 am on a Saturday.  SERIOUSLY....people SLEEP!

I am so peeved.  I tried to call it back and it picks up immediately with no ring and NOTHINGNESS. This annoying.

i have only had my number for four days. it is unlisted/unpublished, yet this company knows my name, my husbands name and our new number?!!  they have called 2x a day since the phone was turned on. totally annoying.  Said their name is family reader services.  i don't have any magazine subscriptions, so i am not a previous customer.  can't file a complaint because number has to be on do not call list for thirty one days.  thought once you told a company to put your name on their do not call list they had to comply(that was the law when i was a telemarketer 8 yrs ago).  guess it doesn't apply to this company!

Apparently if you sign up for new phone service such as Comcast they will sell your new number including your address to all of these telemarketing companies in an attempt to make you pay the extra $5.49 per month fee that they charge you to have your number as non-published or non-listed. This is just another ploy to take more money from you. I just had to call Comcast and pay the extra money because I have been getting calls from all sorts of companies who start calling early in the morning!!!!!!!

just called the number they say that your number got entered in a vacation for two an that they got it from someone entering it not sorry i didn't no my number untill i calll the phone company the dumb people that have the nerve

I too JUST got my home phone turned on and started receiving these calls. Apparently they like new number. Caller ID only said "800 Service". No message, and when I called it back it said All Circuits are Busy. Oh well. Just very annoying.

Have a new phone number that nobody has except family and I get several calls from this number.  Leave me the hell alone or I will get a lawyer.

I got this call 5 days after switching to COMCAST phone service.  I'm signing up for " DO NOT CALL"  ASAP.   --------I also got multiple calls from another leech telemarketer.
