Capital Management Services. They are PREDATORY debt collectors who have been sued many times for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Bottom of the pond scum, basically.
I never answer calls from people I don't know. Blocked and DONE.

BLOCKED. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know as I am ill and don't need to be hassled by a anyone.

I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling me and only if I know the number.

If they call your work and you pick up by mistake, not knowing it is them, say this

1st, don't confirm or deny who you are

Once they say "it's a business matter" or whatever nonsense they spew:

2nd, tell them your company does not allow these kinds of calls relative to ANY employee, you are informing them of that, and per company policy they are not permitted to call back.

Once again, do not confirm who you are.

Douglas, I saw your post and tried doing it just a few minutes ago when they called my work. Guy on the other end of the phone said, fine, we won't call there, and hung up on me. Excellent idea!

Left me a VM I do not know these people, I do not know what they want. They left an extension number 31506 to call back if I knew someone named Howard.   I don't. They called my cell which no one has the number except family. I am also on the DNC for years.  If this is illegal, who do I file the complaint with? No name listed on caller ID.

I do not answer the phone, no message left. and judging by your comments above it must be a scammer as I do not have any debt either.  what a bunch of low life individuals.

I googled the number and found Cavalry  ???...Then I went to the  website and found a link for frequently asked questions, one option on that list was  (did we call the wrong person) when I clicked on it they provided a phone number.. so maybe we should all call and knock their socks off with annoying calls......, we can call every day or every hour. After all its a toll free number.....   1-800-501-0909..... in most areas you can block your own number from them seeing it by dialing   *67 . you might want to check to see if your area is the same..

People - being on the do not call list does NOT matter as collectors have nothing to do with the do not call list. learn what the do not call list is for before you say you cannot understand why they are calling! Collectors do not have anything to do with the do not call list and will call you regardless.

Block them, and don't answer calls ever from a number you don't know. It's that simple.

Don't talk to them or give them any information. Never confirm it's a family member of yours or anything. I have no idea why people are doing that.

They are calling my business phone asking for someone who is not associated with me.  I don't know how they got my number.  I have asked them to stop, but they persist.

Calls often. Calls when they see lights on in basement, 2nd floor at nighttime or when we are outside.

I’m getting voicemails from some company called Calvary portfolio.  Is this like the other company but changed the name from Portfolio Recovery?? I have no idea how it’s bypassing calling but leaves voicemails I don’t know who they are and what they want. I’ve NEVER have heard of them nor received any type of letter.  Glad I came here to see who they are and why calling.  I don’t return phone calls from people I don’t know!!
