These people have called me everyday for the past 2 months searching for ?. They called 14 times just last week. I even invited them over to dinner to prove that whoever they are looking for does not live here. Is it possible to sue them for harassment?

This company called & left half a message. I could not understand what they said

I got a call on my cell today from 800-866-2528, a woman named Diane Jones left a message to call her back at that #. I called back, it rings and rings then goes silent. I tried it a second time and still went silent.  IF they are a debt collection company they are in violation of the FDCPA laws leaving a message without any information.

the lady was ridiculously rude calling for my mother (she did mention her name) and didn't calm down until I told her that I live out of state. She told me to write down her number and extension and to call back. She mentioned that she's from PBC Sacramento but when I looked the place oup online, it didn't show up.

they keep calling late at night asking for someone who doesn't even live here!!! VERY RUDE KIDS!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I'm to the point now i just laugh! I have no clue who the person is they want----it's not me and it's taken some digging to find out who and what this PBC is. Has anybody thought maybe a class action lawsuit is in order for this place??

First off, for all you "helpful" people out there that keep suggesting that EVERY person here has some reason to be harassed by a credit collection company, your help is about as wanted as a case of the crabs.
Secondly, when this number calls (which is about twice a week for me) the *computer generated voice* NEVER ask for me, it is ALWAYS a different name. The whole thing is totally automated until you press a number to be connected (which I do) and then the operator asks why you called! I don't know!? Why did you call me! Once you are transferred, you will speak to any one of the reps. who answer the phone and if you complain about unwanted calls, they will hang up on you. This has happened twice to me so far. Try to dial them back to get satisfaction, the phone rings forever then goes to someones voicemail. Think you're gonna leave an angry message to get a response? Think again, because the voicemail that you have been transferred to is not accepting messages.

I called them back & asked the receptionst where their headquarters is, she said Denver Colorado.

I have a bad debt.  It was sent to this company.  I called my old cc company and they transferred me to the same company.  The problem may be with the ligimitacy of the debt, not the company.  18008662528. This is the course of action I suggest everyone take when receiving any calls asking for $.  Call who they claim they are collecting for and verify that it is the same ppl asking you for $.

our home was forclosed and second (by same bank as first) mortgage was written off by bank on our credit report, but keep getting calls from this number (not the bank) demanding payment in full!

I recieved a phone call from a jessica hickey extension 2284 or ms amado ext. 2286. They set payment arrangements for a loan i had. they gave me to one o'clock today. i have been calling since 12:30pm all it  says is all lines are busy and blocks call. {800)866-2528. something fishy. i dont think they are that busy that they cant take a call since they have ext,

I received a call from 800-866-2528 from a company called PCB who were trying to locate an individual by the name of Janette Beebe.

For a period of seven (7) months I received similar calls from the Columbus, Ohio office of World Bank Network, despite my insistence that I did no know anyone called Janette Beebe. I even went to the trouble of checking my phone book and providing several supervisors with the correct phone number for Janette Beebe; but they refused to delete my number from their files, and the calls kept coming. Finally, I called the FTC who referred me to the office of the Delaware Bank Commissioner's Office where World Bank is headquartered. Only after an investigation by that authority did the phone calls stop.

I do not wish to go through this ordeal again with PCB. I'm 75-years-old and under medication for high blood pressure.

PCB is the fourth collection agency to call me re Janette Beebe; so it appears that she intentionally submitted false information on credit applications in order to subsequently avoid collection efforts, which I believe is a felony.
