Of course, it is a scam.  Wells Fargo is too dumb to invest in technology to prevent spoofing when they are worried their dimwit, nitwit, morons, nincompoop, stupid CEO's don't receive their high price bonuses !!!!!!!!!!!!  CID does show Wells Fargo but we don't have an acct and have never done business with the stupid company.  Call hung up after the 1st ring which is spammer's MO.  But then stupidity seems to have become the badge of honor these days !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reports clear back to 2007! Well, this scammer is still at it. Robocall from Devin at Wells Fargo account services offering me debt forgiveness In these troubled times on my account if I’ll just press one to have my debt validated. Fishing with a wide net here, not bothering to first check if the recipient even has a Wells Fargo account, which I do not. Bye bye, scammer.

Turds from India are Spoofing this phone number saying they will reduce your credit card interest rate,,,, IF you give them your card information!!  Big Scam,, Dont fall for it.  But they call me all the time so I made it my mission to waist as much of their day as possible. Sometimes up to 10 minutes!  Its funny when they finally figure out that I have waisted their time!!

Credit card rate/debt reduction scam. It's infuriating that we've put people on the moon, we have a supercomputer in our pocket, and people are landing reusable rockets like science fiction and no one will do one dang thing to stop this!! Its a fraud, its a crime, and we wouldn't allow it in our neighborhoods but we'll allow them to destroy the usefulness of the phone network. Incredibly frustrating.

As others have reported, scammer trolling widely with a spoofed Wells Fargo CS #.

Call rang, ID as WELLS FARGO. I answered and missed most of the recording but heard the last part say, "press 1 to relieve debt." I hung up and called WF and inquired if they make such calls which she said no.
FCC...? Not good, not good!

Caller ID stated Wells Fargo, but the script did not identify as Wells Fargo, I have never done business with Wells Fargo, and the robot said, "due to the tragic times, we are offering all valued customers full debt forgiveness. .... press '1' to get you debt validated."   Fraud/scam.

Called my home. Left no message. I don't have any business with WF. Number now blocked. Probably scammers.

I got a call for 1-800-869-3557 with name as Well Fargo. I pick it up to see why Wells Fargo would be calling me since I do not have any accounts with them. Was message stating Well Fargo is forgiving all debit do to Coronavirus. I hung up. Don't answer these calls but want to find out what was up with them.

The scum just called. Showed Wells Fargo on caller ID. I usually don't do this but wasted 15 minutes of the idiots time giving them fake charge card numbers and expiration dates. Asked him if this was because of Donald Trump's forgiveness program. Heavy accent said his name was Kevin. These scum are getting away with this when they get a poor person who doesn't know what's going on and give them their information. Wanted charge card numbers expiration dates excetera. He finally caught on after 15 minutes and hung up on me. There's a place in hell for these folks

This is the customer service number for Wells Fargo BUT I suspect that the number is being spoofed and they are phishing, telling me I've been pre-approved for some credit card, like the typical scam.  A legitimate offer would have been in the mail.

They called and did not leave a message.  The CID says Wells Fargo.  This has to be a spoofed number.  I do not have an account with them and I do not have a mortgage!  I paid that off 12 years ago.  Scam callers, beware!

Wells Fargo calling to sell me "additional" services which is a farce, because I've never been an account holder with WF or any of their affiliates.  I hung up halfway through the sales pitch and blocked the number

Received call to lower all credit cards to 0 percent.  Transferred to a guy with heavy Indian accent.  I have no accounts with you at this time.

Even tho the CallerID said “WELLS FARGO” because it was an 800# I sang “TOLL FREE CALLer we’re not with WELLS FARGO But we’re  on [our state’s] NoCall LIst [our state’s] Attorney General’s phone number.”  - they hung upon
