Caller ID says Wells Fargo. Does not leave a message. Has called me twice in a week. I suspect it's a scam.

An automated voice said that my account with Wells Fargo had a $4,000 fraud for coinbase. Funny thing is I don't have a Wells Fargo account!!!

Received call, Caller ID said Wells Fargo. A recording with a man's voice said this is Wells Fargo, there was a $4,000 withdrawal from your account, press 1 if you did not authorize this withdrawal. I hung up then. The only account I have with WF is a mortgage, so I knew this was a scam. It's a Caller ID spoof. The number is the real WF customer service number, but the call is fraudulent.

This  number  called  Unknown says  it  was  Wells  Fargo stating  Fraud and  unauthorized   use on  my account   THAT I DONT  HAVE  WITH  WELLS  FARGO  LOL. When  i  asked  the  girl  about  the  transaction, She  hung  up right  away. If  you call the  number  back  you  gets  Wells  Fargo

This is a Wells Fargo number but it si being spoofed by scammers, I got a text showing wells fargo about suspisous charge for 2,400 and I said that it wasnt valid then I got a call from this 1800 number but it was strange so I hung up and called the bank and they confirmed that this number is being spoofed and use for fraud if you get a call hang up and contact the bank.

I received 5 successive robo calls on my cell phone from (866) 869-3557 ( the new version of 800-869-3557). The recording says my account number has been changed to blah, blah, blah, and to punch 1 if I had not authorized the change, and 2 if I had. The message made no sense to me, so I hit "reply" and got Wells Fargo. I explained what happened. The rep said they did not send any alert on my WF credit card account and that WF had not called me. Then that number called again. I hit the "decline" to answer button, and then blocked the number from calling me again.

Fake "Wells Fargo" call. It came through as Wells Fargo and this number is listed on the web. They said someone had shut down my text alerts and that I was scheduled to send a Zelle payment of $3500. They were going to send me a text link to click on, but I told them I didn't believe the call was real. They told me to go visit a branch. I called Wells Fargo Fraud Department instead and they showed no fraud activity on my account and nothing related to a pending Zelle deduction. Scary they can spoof legit numbers and names on your mobile phone!

Received a call from another fraudster number claiming to be Wells Fargo yesterday. When we said we would call the number on the back they hung up. Called today with the CID showing the number from the back of their cards (this one). I told them that we didn't fall for their scam before and they should take us off their scam list.

Why do you think that person, who clearly posted here in 2020, would know how much money you have in your account?

Well, based on who you replied to and when they posted, I would say your account is overdrawn but you still think there is money there.

Called me to inform me that my Wells Fargo card was declined at an IGA in Miami for over 300 dollars... thing is, I haven't had a Wells Fargo account in 13 years, and the callback number it left (1-844-506-4127) isn't matching anything official. Scam.
