I called Time-Warner Cable earlier to report a problem with the remote control.  About half an hour later I received a call from 800-892-2253.  The caller identification does not reflect that it is a call from Time-Warner Cable, it appears as Toll-Free-Number.  I did not answer it, but afterwards listened to the voice mail message they left.  It was supposedly a follow-up call to get my feedback on how my concern was handled, or dealt with.  Why the anonymity of their identification on the Caller ID, is a puzzle.

These people need to STOP CALLING ME!

I'm guessing it was TW Cable reminding me to get caught up on my payment. The voice-mail they left didn't explain the reason for the call:

"...calling about an important change in the status of the account belong to... call within 24 hours... 800-892-2253"

I called the number and it went into their automated system asking me why I called...

uh.... you called me? You should know why I'm calling :D

I gave up calling time Warner asking them to stop calling me with sales pitches. I put the Mr. Number app on my phone. The app just hangs up on these calls so I don't have to deal with these things anymore.  But I don't have a house  phone

This is Time Warner Cable. I answered. They just try to sell you more packages. No THANKS. I want GOOGLE FIBER.

Automated message left saying they were calling to get feedback for Time Warner.  I guess it was going to be some kind of survey I guess.

Number calls me 4 times in a row...at least twice a week....Part of the reason why this is such a problem is because TWC does not have contracts...Any other company that has contracts usually only calls (once..as a courtesy)  when the contract is about to expire...as soon as you are in the TWC system, you are free game for sales calls any day any time

TWC is the biggest scam company out there. I used to love TWC but they scam money out of you and have the worst customer service ever. They tell you that they will lower your bill when they jack it up on you without telling you. They charge you for more then one service that you don't even have. If I was you stay away from TWC.

Time Warner reminder about your bill

Time Warner is the biggest scrooge out there. Very greedy and unfeeling. Not willing to work with anyone when a person is having financial difficulties and needs a few extra days to pay. Now they won't even tell you what the shut off date is. Time to look into Dish Network. TWC- kiss my $&!

I had them call me 23 times in the past 4 hours.

This number called me 3 times in 3 minutes. That is sooo unnecessary. I tried to call back but no answer. That now makes 6 calls today alone.

they are  calling for payment...

This phone number is Time Warner Cable calling to scam you out of your hard earned money by selling you useless crap you don't need.  Our politicians should be focusing on killing these moronic robo calls instead of idiotic laws that no one cares about.  TWC use to call me all the time until I finally found a solution to block these unwanted and unnecessary calls.  Use Mr. Number if they are calling your cell or if you're like me and they constantly bombard your landline get Digitone's Call Blocker 10.  I programmed my unit to block all 700 & 800 numbers and I have a 90% reduction in unwanted calls.  The others are coming in from NY and OR.  I'm slowly but surely eliminating those area codes as well.  Don't waste your time registering your number on the DNC.  It's worthless because of the numerous loopholes and will just piss you off even more.  I'm waiting for a Cal Tech or MIT graduate to come out with a robo dialer for the little guy to fight back.  I would love to cut on my computer and make it robo call these 800 #'s dozens of times a day to waste their time.        

It is indeed Time Warner Cable.  In my case, the call was legitimate & warranted as the credit card I use for automated billing had expired.  Seems like they should use a number that identifies them on the CID when it's something legit.

i am not interested in getting any additional crappy service from these jokers asked them to remove me from their list still keep calling. repeat calls 1 after another in 10 minute time frame

Received numerous calls from this number over the past week or more.  No messages left.  Comes up unavailable on caller id.  Very annoying and harassing.  Am on do not call registry.  I am getting to the point where I am going to notify all the proper authorities to stop this harassment.  Had enough.  (Just got another call from this number and it says that it is Time Warner Cable and that you are to contact them. )

Received numerous calls from this number as well as others if this is from Time Warner Cable.  No message was left and called super early in the am.  Wrote letter to them to stop calling because of harassing me and my family.  Bet I won't get another call from them.  Ready to cancel my service to Time Warner and have FIOS.  

Yes, TWC - but it was a message that I forgot my bill - so yep - not always an advertisement.  Glad they called!

Calls on my cell ph# which i never gave them.  6 calls in 2 days and no answer.  very bothersome
