I keep getting calls from this number that I have scheduled service at my residence. Earlier today I went to the local Spectrum office and they searched their records for my address and phone number and their records show I have not scheduled any installation of service. Sounds like a scam.

Did you ever call the number because if you did call it you'd realize that it was actually spectrum calling you, anytime the people in your area have marked any number as spam or scam that number will begin to appear as "scam likely" think  before making this comment because I just called and was connected to spectrum 🤔 you're putting one of the employees on the internet accusing them of scamming you. Out of what ? Did they take or request any money from you ? How are they scamming you by asking you if your order is still in good standing you people are weird you complain about phone calls if there was no one to call who could answer your stupid questions what would you idiots do ?

Yes, it’s Spectrum (used to be Time Warner). Yes, it’s automated. But it’s for when you make an appt and it’s verifying that you still want to keep your appt.

Or it could be a scammer spoofing this number too!

Never trust a caller to be who they claim, always call from an official number to verify if they did call.

I first received calls from Spectrum that there was a problem with my purchase. Next I'm receiving calls that the installer is scheduled for 3 pm on Saturday. The last call I received was actually a live person. I told them that I had been ignoring the calls because I haven't dealt with Spectrum. It appears that they had my number by mistatke or someone was hassling them.

I got a call from this number.  When I answered it, all I heard was sounds...previous complaints about this number is from time Warner cable dated 2009, 2010 however,  Time Warner does not exist anymore and is now Spectrum since 2017 or 2018 So, I know this is a scam call..I'll be blocking this number

It was Spectrum for my Internet. I called yesterday when it was out. Message: “Are still experiencing a service interruption please call us back and we will be glad to assist you we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for being our customer goodbye…”.  It’s been raining hard and probably broke some lines, just like the last heavy rain.

Automated message from Spectrum, actually wasn't telemarketing this time! Turns out I forgot to pay this month's bill. "I don't need auto-pay, I always remember at the beginning of the month!" Of course. Anyway, I logged on to pay and then a few hours later got another automated call saying "Your account status has been updated. Thank you for your payment!" Kind of weird, but whatever. At least they weren't trying to up-sell me like they do on all the other calls (at least once a week).

When my bill from Spectrum increased yet again (three times in 5 months) I called and asked to speak to someone in "Retention." After a bit of haranguing I was able to convince them to keep me as a customer by reducing my bill (cable, internet and phone) by over $50 a month. I guess they were calling back to tell me they were increasing it back again! Did not leave a message, so too bad. I use their software to to block phone calls that are not on my contact list. They are not on my contact list.

It's the number from Spectrum that you can request a call from to let you know when your service has been restored after an outage due to storms.

Had a callback from this number after a previous call in the early morning on our answering machine from a supposedly Spectrum automated voice number 844-206-9035 about 'changes to my service'. They had my name but not any other info, besides, they were calling a BUSINESS number and my name is nowhere on the bill. I called the above number and it said 'call volume high, if you would like a callback at so-and-so time, press 1. I did, and at the given time, no call, but 15 minutes later they did call. During the interim I had researched the number and our auto-pay and everything was paid up, so when the lady called back, she asked for my account number and address. I asked what the call pertained to and she stated she needed my account number, address, and phone number to access her info. I told her she just called me, so she should know phone number and what the previous call was about. She was persistent about getting my info to tell me why they had called, but I said this didn't sound legit and hung up. Upon research, this was phishing scam, with both phone numbers masked. First ID said '800 Service', second ID said 'Spectrum'. They want your account number and your other info so they can hijack your account and/or funds. Both the 844 number and this one are NOT Spectrum. The reason I know this is that we also had a call during the same day on our BUSINESS phone from the same number asking for my wife. Again, both of our names are nowhere on the BUSINESS Spectrum account.
