Called again on cell today at 3:09 PM, left no message. Listed as a telemarketer. This is a scammer spoofing Time Warner/Spectrum's tech support number.

Same as everyone's else posts that mention it. This piece of garbage is pretending to be Time Warner's tech support number.

This is NOT Time Warner. I called them and reported this call and their claims. Time Warner was very appreciative to hear about this scam and delighted that I had written down the phone number to pass on to them. She reported it to their security department. They don't have an arrangement to shift you over to ATT/Daystar dish service at all. If it sounds too good to be true, it's a scam.

They made wild promises about lowering my monthly cable bill and keeping the cost down for 2 years and it would still include HBO, Showtime, etc. and no charges for the equipment and all the cable boxes would be DVR and all for this low, low price and ALL they needed was a $20 one time fee to get the ball rolling and set up an appointment. All was sweetness and light until I told them I don't give out my credit card number over the phone. Oh, but they wouldn't share it with anyone and they could be trusted and we could go through my bank, etc. etc. And when I dug in my heels with a firm 'No' they started getting huffy about the favor they were trying to do for me and I hung up on them. Then I called Time Warner and reported the call and gave them the phone number of the caller. Got to love that caller ID function. It records everything. I did notice when they called back for a survey, their ID came up 'Time Warner' while the fraud came up 'SPECTRUM.'

These cold calls are from Spectrum.  I have asked that they stop calling me, but they refuse to.  I would never buy their services because of their aggressive marketing.  When I call to complain I am put on hold for over ten minutes.  If this if how they manage their customer service, I bet their products are inferior too.

I took one for the team and answered.  Indian-sounding guy says he is calling from Spectrum and has a great deal on a combination package that will cost only around $65.00.  I said I am paying less than that, but of course he could look up exactly what I am paying.  He says "you are paying less than $65?"  Yup, I am.  Caller ID says: 800-892-4357.

Recorded call wanting me to press "1" to get information on a discount on TV/cable service.  When I did nothing, the caller hung up.

It was telemarketing for Time warner. I actually canceled my service because I asked them not to call to upsell me things and they did it again after promising it would stop. I am no longer a customer and on the DNC.
