- AnonymousThe number 800-892-4357 phoned my landline on 01-20-20/1011 hrs.. They didn't leave a voicemail. When I dialed them back, blocked, a recording saying they were Xfiniti, and to enter the phone number affiliated w/ my account, even though, I don't have an account w/ Xfiniti. I entered my landline/cell phone numbers. The computer didn't recognize my phone numbers. I used my investigative search engines, and it said the number belonged to a Chad Prusha/Plaza Terrace Apartments/Blue Farm Estates. It, also said it was a telemarketer/a high risk for scam/fraud. They did the same thing, again, on 01-31-20/0911 hrs.

- scambasherre: 800-892- 4357. I have been getting calls from this number repeatedly for over a year and have been trying to get rid of them for as long. They are running a scam, using a Spectrum number via voIP service. Voice over Internet allows them to pick whatever number or area code they choose to target and usually the calls are not even generated in the U.S. Ever notice the thick Indian accents? When some dude with the heaviest Hindi dialect tells you that his name is "Victor" or "Bob'? Spectrum is aware of what is going on and so is the FTC/FCC and Attorney General. DON'T fall for scammers crap!! REPORT IT!!!!!!

- Roy2I pressed 1 as instructed & was told cable prices are going down. I mentioned that he is a mid-eastern fornicator of pigs, so tell me about your scam so I can pretend to be interested. We played “not a scam, is a scam” then I hung up.

- AnonymousThe number 1-800-892-4357 phoned my landline, again, on 02-05-20/1504 hrs. I dialed the number back, blocked, again, and a recording answered saying it was Spectrum. This time, when I phoned, I took the liberty of utilizing different prompts and was able to talk to two different representatives w/ their company, one of which was a "Horton", w/ techinical support. When I spoke to the individuals, I informed them that I would like my phone number to be removed from their contact list. I informed them, I am not a customer of Spectrum's, never have been, and don't wish to be. I have been w/ another provider for many years, and don't wish to change providers. I, also, informed the 2 individuals that my number is paid to be unlisted w/ my provider. They both informed me that they can't remove my number from their database, due to they couldn't locate it in their database, and that most likely the phone calls are solicitations. I investigated the number, again, and it is still listed to a "Chad Prusha", whoever the hell that is. It is also listed to a Plaza Terrace Apts./Blue Farm Estates, and is listed as a high risk of scam/fraud/telemarketer. This is unlawful solicitation, and should be punished, and it needs to cease.

- Don| 3 repliesSame number (800) 892-4357, calls at least once a day, but usually 3-4 times. I let voice mail pick it up. I've blocked it with no luck so I call it back. It's Spectrum. You have to go through a couple phone prompts telling them you don't have an account with them and finally you can press zero. The girl answered and I explained the issue. She said to go to Spectrum.com/privacy. Then click on Privacy Preferences - Residential. Fill out the information (name, address, etc. are required). Then click on the big words "Communication Preferences". Then put a check mark (click) Do Not Call and put your number in. There are other items as well if you want like "Do not mail", "Do not email", etc. When you're done click "I'm not a robot" and then Submit. I don't know if it works as I just did it, but it's worth a try.
