- HallieThis number called me at 6:57pm on August 10th. I have a competitor to Spectrum as my cable provider. They would have no reason to be calling me. From reading the other comments I think this may be a legit Spectrum number but it is also being spoofed by scammers. My caller ID was the long string of V and a bunch of digits, which always comes from a scam caller in my experience. This call did get through my robo call blocking service.

- MazyHesitation on the line, then tell-tale call center "blip" tone, then just before I hung up, a guy with an American accent said "Hello?". I hung up anyway. Ignore and block this number.

- speedgot a call from this number with no message left - I also get calls from other 1-800 numbers from Indian male who sometimes just says "hello mamm" He also knows my first name - but I suspect this is not an innocent caller

- TonyCaller ID showed "Time Warner" and the phone number 800-892-4357. I have Time Warner for my phone, internet and TV, so I answered. Guy with a VERY thick accent (difficult to understand at times) said he was going to save me a ton of money. He made lots of false claims because I checked out what he was saying. This is a SCAM! Don't be fooled by this. Best advice: Ignore the call and DO NOT ANSWER.
- Caller: Time Warner (spoofed)

- jimedBThis number called my home phone again today at 5:57 PM Labor Day 9/3/2018 just as I was sitting down for dinner. I answered and yelled "Who is calling" twice before a male with a very heavy accent answered and before he got too far with his sales pitch I interrupted him and let him know I knew this was a scam and do not ever call this number again! Next I will report this number to the FCC and Do Not Call even though that is a complete waste of my time!

- BassieCaller ID says Time-Warner - that service isn't available in this area. This number calls 1-2 times a week and never leaves a message.
Since they use the same number over and over, I just put it on block. Let them listen to the "out of service" message.- Caller: Spammer

- bI have been getting this number for a week and not answering, I figured it was a BS number. I answered and got silence, so hung and blocked it.
- TommyGot a call on the landline telephone. Caller-ID indicated "Spectrum", and the Caller-ID number was a legitimate Customer Service number for Charter Communications "Spectrum" which is indeed a Cable/Internet/Phone service company operating here in my SoCal county. However!, COX Cable is our exclusive Cable TV/Internet/Phone service provider in the San Diego County area in which I live, and as such it is a monopolized service as Charter Communications "Spectrum" is in no way, shape, or form available where my residence is located. Believe me, I tried. I loathe COX Cable. If I could dump 'em, for anybody else, I would do so immediately.
So, Charter Communications "Spectrum" has absolutely no business, whatsoever, calling our home where we live to solicit any kind of Customer Service contact - however slight. NONE. Obviously, the Caller-ID was SPOOFED, and so I let it go to voicemail, and sure enough it was dead air for about 5 seconds - then a hang up. Nothing heard in the background. I swear, I hope all these 3rd world craphole people who are pulling these scams with these phone calls get a humongous lightning bolt straight up their posterior someday.- Caller: SPECTRUM
