Numerous unwanted calls

They said they were from AT&T to lower my bill.  Was a looooong pause before speaking... Had my first name.  When he said "God Bless" my BS detector went off (no company allows that)  Then he tries to lower my bill, I am not their customer.

They constantly call me and I, on occasion, have answered but not lately!  Scam call, please don't answer!!!! Just found out my phone# is being used for  "phishing"! Has been reported!  The idiots are relentless!!

Says it is Spectrum. Person is male, with a heavy Indian accent. Lots of background noise. Could not understand him other than "more than $100 for your service." Hung up. I don't believe that this is Spectrum as they do not call unless I call them first. SCAM!

Its Spectrum And They Are Authorized Dealer For Spectrum .. I am Saying this Because i got my services installed.. and soon i am going to get my first month bill too.. so those who sayin its "SCAM" or spoofing the caller ID ... so please being an US citizen you should grow the f*ck up ... jerks people are always find negative things... go to hell you Uneducated people

Scammer claiming to be from Spectrum/Time Warner cable regarding my account.  I have an antenna and no cable.  Calls started when I setup two factor authentication with Facebook.

Strong accent claiming to be from "Spectrum TV services" with very loud call center volume in background, akin to the din heard on scambusting videos on YouTube.  Explained to the poor fool that Spectrum doesn't own the property (city/region) in which I live and doesn't operate in my location.  Used some technical language with which he appeared unfamiliar (but should certainly have understood if truly in the cable tv industry!).  He paused, apologized, and hung up.  This was without a doubt a SCAM, and I can't wait for them to call again.  Next time, I'll be recording the call.

Called and left no message.  I turned off my Caller-ID and dialed the number.  I got a message which said, “Welcome to Spectrum. This call may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance”. Several menu options were offered me. I was asked for my account number, etc. I am NOT a Spectrum customer. I did NOT supply any of my personal information. Spectrum does NOT have a cable franchise where I live.  I have blocked the number. You should do the same.

Claimed they were from Spectrum and that Spectrum purchased DirectTV.  When I told him he was wrong, asked him what number he was calling from, he hung up.  Think accent that sounded Indian.

They spam my phone with calls and hang up as soon as I answer.

Got a call from this number--caller ID says "Direct TV".  Didn't answer, no message left.

Glad that I did not answer.  Call came in as "Spectrum."  Thanks to all who posted.  No message was left, have now blocked all future calls from 800 892.

No message. CID was “toll free call.” Now blocked.

Have tried multiple times to block this number, but it keeps getting through.  No messages left.  Calls EVERY DAY.

Now using CID with V followed by string of numbers.

These fools have called me repeatedly.  I have never been a customer of Spectrum or Time Warner.  Also, I'm on the do not call list, so either Spectrum is just that scummy or the call is from criminals.
