Harassment goes both ways. Is it not harassment when you fail to pay for something you owe? Tell your mom to pay her obligations. Being elderly does not exclude a person from their obligations.

Well as usual your inane advice is 3 years too late since that poster wrote that in 2013.  But then being a  "collector" I certainly wouldn't imagine you have more than a 3rd grade education.  By the way, it has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that everyone who has posted in this thread has paid their bills and owes no one.  Everyone except you that is, since we have learned that you are the biggest deadbeat in the world having stuck everyone from the Pope on down to your mother for money.

Failing to pay a bill is most certainly not harassment..  But what your doing posting here is! Nice try, suck it up cupcake, epic fail!  Do make sure you read it since it names debt collectors as well..

These SCUM called our phone number for two (2) years straight. We have no outstanding debts. They have called before 8am CT and after 9pm CT. They never leave a message. Then they stopped calling for almost five (5) months. Now, at almost 9pm CT last night they called again. In the very beginning, I asked them to put in writing to whatever address they showed. I gave them absolutely no information..no name..no address. They kept calling so I notified the Attorney General offices of my state and their's. They continue to harass a ton of people. Of course, I blocked their phone number after their first two (2) calls and their refusal to document anything to me in writing. Everyone needs to contact their state's AG and also, Pennsylvania's.

Their spiels are getting dumber. This morning they called before 9 AM with a recorded message that said if I was the person to press 1 for a message. If I wasn't the person, to press 2 to hear the message. No names of who they were calling so I only pressed the disconnect button. I know we do not owe them anything because our debts have never gone to collections.

Because you believe that the DNC is a call blocker-type deal when it's not. Plus, criminals are NOT going to follow the rules anyways

These guys just called my wife's grandmother with a prerecorded message trying to say that she has an unpaid bill for $970.81 and that they were a collection company. She would have probably fallen for it. I need to find a way to block all numbers like these.

Well you could try searching for a call blocker.  Further on page 13 of this thread I have posted everything you need to know about this particular bunch of crooks.  You are much better off using that information to do this:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to (which you will again find on page 13).  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.

Why is it that we have to push 2 for English? Shameful this is the USA.  When they called this morning I answered Hello, Hello, Good-bye, very quickly, then hung-up. I noticed they called back two hours later when I wasn't' home. Annoying.  I am sure this is a robo call on a Hunt Group, it's programmed into a computer to call all phone numbers with a certain range, when someone picks up the call the recording starts. When the call ends/hangs up, it continues down the line - concrete, sequential.

After he ask me for my address and last 4 numbers of my SS#. Said they would not call anymore and thank me. We'll see how that goes.

You gave these crooks your SS#?  Not a very wise move.  This is a well known debt scamming operation located in Harrisburg, PA.  Never ever give a DC that information, especially if the call isn't for you.  Always send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  Everything else you need to know is on page 13 of this thread.
