This number calls every day, sometimes twice a day.  As early as 8 am, as late as 9 pm - even on Sundays.  It is ridiculous.  They sometimes want to talk to a person who doesn't live here, sometimes they ask for Dave.  I am going to call my carrier AT&T and see if there is a way to stop these annoying calls.

You have conveniently neglected to mention that often debt collectors call people that do not know the person they are looking for. People move and phone numbers change fairly often. Once a debt collector is notified that the person they are calling is not the one they are looking for calls should cease, but often do not. If this happens one should send the company a letter by certified mail w/ return receipt stating that they are to cease calling. If they continue keep a record and then you can sue them for $1500 per call. I'm sure you didn't want people to know that so I felt the need to fix your little red wagon!
Many of these companies are junk debt buyers which means they buy debt that is out of the statute of limitations, meaning that they can't sue. They try to get around this by placing it on your credit record making it look like a new debt...which is illegal. Many times these old debts are SO old that they should have fallen off a credit report. People check your credit report annually and if your bank has credit monitoring with ID theft protection it could very well be worth the money to make sure that these dirty little tricks aren't going on without you noticing.

Ms. barley from 1-800-900-1373 called here asking for someone that doesn't live here. Very rude and wouldn't give the courtesy to listen. Had to 'over talk' herald then she hung up.

Get weird calls with no caller ID... robotic message first tries to understand our preferred language prior to saying (in English) they want to talk about a personal business matter; but, never mention any names (not theirs, not mine, not anybody).  Calls with no ID generally come from sources with bad reputations and these hiding fools do not leave a message encouraging a call back to discuss personal business (whatever it may be) with a source that cannot identify themselves up front; therefore, we are not inclined to call them to either educate them on phone etiquette or see what they want... too many other, more meaningful mysteries in life to solve with defined entities not some weirdos fishing for a call back and giving no reason to do so.

This is the second number Penn Credit has now used to annoy me.  They just called at 8:00PM on Easter Sunday evening.  What kind of low-life scum does that??  This is a time for family and friends regardless of it's religious significance.  I live in Maryland and these total [***] are calling at the bequest of the Comptroller of the State of Maryland....trying to collect a supposed tax debt on Easter Sunday night!!!  BTW, the tax debt is a scam and not true...I pay my taxes on time and in the amount that my tax return adds up to.  Considering I've been out of work since 2009 and am now living off of nothing but SSA benefits and a small pension from a former employer, this is the last annoyance I need on Easter Sunday.  What total outright slime.  The Comptroller's office is going to get a call from me tomorrow morning, and they ain't getting a word in edgewise!!  They're gonna listen to my screaming and ranting at them and calling them every foul, crude, and disgusting name that I can think of, and then slam the phone in their ear!  The biggest mistake I've ever made is voting for Maryland's current governor, Larry Hogan in 2014.  He's only been in office for a little over a year, and this is now strike 3 on this dipsh*t.  Never again will I waste a vote on this man!!
