- graceVoicemail left. Most of the message was cut off except the ending- "verizon wireless cares about you". Talk about weird....
- Caller: verizi
- Ehm1217Called this afternoon. Caller ID read Verizon. Sent it to voicemail and got the same message others reported -- offering a bill credit of $45 claimed by logging into a web address they left. Looks like a scam. Verizon isn't in the habit of handing out money for anything. Probably phishing for Verizon account log in info. Given the number of reports here I'm surprised Verizon isn't cracking down on this ... but we are talking about Verizon so I guess not.
- Caller: Verizon -- or so they claimed
- Call type: Telemarketer
- VivienneAgain, this is another phone call from Verizon. Again, they are calling my cell phone #; this time left no message. BUT, I called the number and it definitely is a Verizon number. It wanted information which, of course, I would not give. Another SCAM!! Last night, it stated it was Connecticut Limousine.
- Caller: Verizon
- LAThis is NOT a call from Verizon. The website it tells you to go to is verizonwireless45.com, which has nothing to do with Verizon. SPAM all the way. Don't fall for it.
- Caller: Telemarketer/SPAM
- Call type: Telemarketer
- sweetie| 1 replyI am not getting calls - I am getting pop up alerts on my smart phone telling me to call that number, and after reading all of this, I have no intentions of calling.
- SkippyGirl| 1 replyI just received a call from this number & let it go to voice mail. When I retrieved the message, it sounded like a slurred and broken up phone call about going to Verizon45.com. I have no idea what the call was really about, but sure sounded suspicious.
- Katie LuI keep getting these calls on my work cell. I actually answered the first time, and hung up. The second time I told them to please do not call again as it was a work phone. Since then, I just leave the calls go to voice mail. 800 numbers shouldn't be calling me, period! The last message was similar to previously reported one with "Verizon cares about you." Seriously!!?? If Verizon was really calling, they wouldn't be constantly harassing and would be leaving messages.
- Caller: Verizon
- Phila, PA replies to SkippyGirlIt is absolutely a scam. I got a call from the 800-922-7777 number people mention on this thread. Again, stated it was Verizon offering an account credit by going to www.reward45.com. I'm not even a Verizon customer.
- sonyanow using 800-922-8888... same broken up message....claiming $45 bill credit....I'm going to block those numbers.
- Alisoun GanoeI received a call from 800 922 7777. They said I would get 45 00. It is a scam !!!
- oma bhattaraiwhy internet is not working on phone?
- E. F.This phone number appeared in an error message on my phone shortly after installing a 'phone cleaner' app for my android phone. Something about it smacked of malware, so I immediately uniinstalled the app. The error message has not repeated.
- carina| 1 replyI keep getting an error message on my phone that the app I'm using crashed and to call that number, but it happens on random pps, and the app doesn't actually close or freeze or anything.. wonder if it is a virus?
- MarkScam - give no information. Charges will appear on your bill. If you gave your last 4 social check every credit card bill and your phone bills. Expect $$$$ charges!
- Caller: Supposedly AT&T
- StephanieDid not answer so a voicemail was left
Claimed I'd receive a $45 credit but the message was very choppy and difficult to hear which automatically makes it look fishy as hell especially considering my phone isn't the one that deals with the bill on my plan- Caller: Scam
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BamaReceived an unsolicited call on my Verizon cell phone saying to log into 35reward.com to receive a $35 reward on my Verizon account. Clearly a scam so did not log in for fear they would get my IP address. The call was probably computer generated and the male voice recording was breaking up and not too clear.
- Grace ScofieldIt started with something about getting a $35.00 rebate this month. The call felt funny even though it was labeled Technical Support, so I hung up. The call lasted 19 seconds.
- CarolI just received an automated call from this number stating that I was awarded at $45 credit. Not going to give them any information.
- Caller: "Verizon Wireless"
- devonn riderRecorded call saying I could receive $45.00 credit
- Caller: verizon
- TinaI received a call from this number twicback to back at 9am. I don't even have Verizon
