Obvious scam call. Now blocked.

Robocall claiming my Verizon account had been suspended. No issue with my account, just a scammer spoofing a legitimate number

I think they said “goodbye”.  Called Verizon and they said people are using their wireless number on the internet and spamming people all over the country.  Looked it up on line and it is spam.

got a call after 9 pm from Verizon technical support saying my phone service was being cancelled unless I respond, The guy said my account was hacked into and someone ordered 3 I phones on my account. He kept
sending me codes claiming he would change my password and fix it, He had e-mail, mailing address, names
but lucky I changed everything recently. The guy gave his name as    TOM ABROMS  I D   # D-F-5500734   HE
IS A FRAUD  he has a strong accent.  If Verizon cannot keep our information confidential I plan on changing carriers. Well Mr. Abroms the fraud is on you, everything you had on me in incorrect. So [***] YOU !!!!!!

I'm not married to my phone and it doesn't control my life, so I missed this call.  Pity.  Seems I missed this scammer.  Interesting enough, when I look up details on my phone, it gives another number 866-659-3967 and says Listener Care Verizon Wireless.  Didn't leave a message, so who knows?  Couldn't get any info on that number, so be warned and be careful.

Just just got a call from this number saying service suspended please enter last 4 of your SS #. Verizon take notice as well as total Wireless and tracfone. They just called my friends son while I was writing this post. So they are in South Alabama system. Verizon has been hacked

7/30/19-Call from 800-922-0204. Same as everyone else-saying my account was suspended for verification. I hung up and blocked the number.

Scammer. Calls outside regulated hours.

Received this call today.  No message left after my outgoing message quit.  Thanks to the forensic work done above, I will block this number if it calls again.  I am not blocking it now because of the limited number my carrier allows me to block, and my "blocked call" list is full.

I just got the message to press one because my account was being suspended.  I pressed one and went on hold for about a minute and the call was then dropped.

Someone from this number just called me and after a lengthy silence and my asking twice "Hello?", a gal responded saying, "Hi, Grandma!".  since it didn't sound at all like my granddaughter, I responded with, "Who IS this?" and the gal hung up.  My old phone doesn't display numbers, but I can dial a certain number to find out which number just called and to block that number, which I did immediately.

I was told my Verizon account was suspended and I needed to verify my information.

Recorded voice stating they were Verizon Wireless verifying a recent order with shipping to an address other than what’s on my account. Wanted me to verify some personal information.  thankfully i knew better and hung up!

Got the call saying my account was suspended.  Well, if my account was suspended and no  longer in service how can you contact me on an out of service phone ???????

Another recorded call with a number spoofed from Verizon Wireless Technical Report.  The recording claims that my account has been clocked and to contact them immediately.
Funny.... I have a cell phone (not with Verizon), but their calling my home phone.....

I'm getting a pop-up on my phone saying they can't log into my Verizon account and to call this number. I don't have a Verizon account. Probably time for a factory reset. Crap
