The number 800-922-0204 answers as Verizon with all the auto prompts. The message left on my voice was that I was eligible for a $45 dollar discount. I had inquired a few months ago about switching from Comcast. I don't really see a scam here just a marketing ploy maybe None of my personal information was discussed or mentioned so it's a little confusing with the rest of the comments, who knows, maybe there is an inside scam.

This no. has hooked onto my cell phone telling me that there is trouble connecting and to call it with error 1001. It is shown as a bonafide Verizon no. but I understand it's a scam..

Someone from Verizon Wireless, (probably a newly hired disgruntled employee of the Pearl Highlands office in Hawaii) messed with posting old voicemail to my newly replaced basic phone.  Earlier, he messed with my Menu listing moving my Settings and Tools elsewhere.  I went to another service center to get this corrected.  If he continues, I will name him.  We don't want guys like him in Hawaii.

Verizon number used as a scam… Not Verizon's fault. Asked me to go to a website that was not owned by Verizon.

Missed a call from 800-922-0204, they left a voice-mail saying I was eligible for a $35 credit on my next Verizon Wireless bill if I logged into a web site www.35gift.com. I called Verizon, they said it's a scam, and to forward any spam to 7726.

ID was Technical Support 1-800-922-0204.  Poor quality recording with drop out sound quality.  You have been awarded $1--400 ---- from Veriz--on.

I hung up.  Verizon has my contact info preferences and it is not by telephone on Christmas Day.

Scammers by the look of the calls above.  Hung up.

Even scammers work on Christmas day!  I got a call saying I was eligible for $35 off my Verizon bill.  I kind of figured it was a scam, and contacted Verizon.  It is indeed a scam.  Do not go to the website to fill in any info or your account may be compromised.

The 1-800-922-0204 is a Verizon service number but if you receive a call from it, it is being spoofed. as 1-800 numbers are for dial in only and cannot call out.

1-800 numbers can only receive calls and cannot dial out. If you receive a call or text from any toll free number, the number is being spoofed and is not legit.

You cannot dial out from a toll free number such as 1-800 or 1-877 and if you receive a call or text from a toll free number, then it is being spoofed and is not a legit phone call.

Had a phone call today telling me to go to 35reward.com and log into my Verizon account to claim my $35.00 reward. I did not do it called Verizon instead this is a scam for sure. The rep said that it is called ghost calling so Verizon's phone # will show when you receive the call. It will come up as Technical Support 1-800-922-0204. The rep also informed he spoke with a person last week who did go and log into his account and that man is now out $4000.00. Word to the wise don't do it!

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer it because I rarely answer calls from numbers that are not familiar to me, but I immediately did a search on this number.

I have a Straight talk phone, but my service is through Verizon. The voice mail was rushed, poor quality. The only thing I got out of it was "35 dollars... at Verizon, we care about you. Thank you." Glad I found this page, to see that it must be a scam...
